I did not get a chance to eat here due to a RUDE waiter named Kevin, I don't waste time on reviews because my time is very limited, but I had to do it this time. I made a reservation for Shipwreck restaurant for Sunday Sept. 3rd. which was excellent, then for Monday the online booking was closed because of the Labor Day holiday so I was not able to make a reservation for Skyline Lounge, but I decided to walk in since there were only 2 tables occupied on a Monday around 8:30pm. Since there was nobody assisting and I did not expect to have some assisting because it looks like a cafeteria not an actual restaurant and no sign that says we must wait to be seated; me, my wife and 2 kids took the first available table to see if someone comes to serve us. Kevin approached us to take an order and drinks, we started by two mojitos and juices for the kids. After serving us the waiter Kevin said to me with a bad attitude ânext time you have to wait to be seated and have a reservationâ. My first though was trying to understand why he did not advised us when we arrived so we could just go back and try going a another restaurant, so I immediately came back to the front to confirm that there was no sing that says I have to wait in the front which by the way this is an open area, no specific entrance, not even a name of the restaurant where you can identify that itâs an actual restaurant since is shared with a bar. I told the waiter Kevin that there was no sign and no personal to tell us what to do and he comes back to me and said, âhave you ever been to a restaurant?â so the guy started to be ruder now, I told him that âIâm a businessman and you are not supposed to treat a customer like that where the customer is always rightâ he said ânot always and if you are going to continue Iâm not going to serve youâ so I said thatâs ok I donât want you to serve me and he called the manager and I saw him from far away telling the manager his story. When the manager came to me the first thing, he asked me was âdo you have a reservation? I can take you to another restaurant right nowâ So I told the manager âAre you the manager? Because it looks like you are not trying to resolve the issue here, the problem is not the reservation, he started to serve me without asking me if I had a reservationâ so at this point Iâm thinking what kind of management is this, instead of asking me my version of the situation so he can take actions and prevent this from happening again he just tried to take me away from there and giving my discount at the other restaurant like if Iâm asking for discount or free stuff, so the new waitress was super great with us and at the end of the dinner told me that the manager instructed her to charge me for 1 adult only and no kids, I told the waitress that I donât want free dinner, I just wanted a great customer service like the service Iâm receiving from her and the manger thinks he is making me happy for this. I have attached pictures of the...
Read moreA great restaurant right in the middle of it all! This was our first stay at the Legoland Hotel ( we were on the Pirate side) and second visit with my 6 yr old daughter for her bday weekend. We ate here two nights in the row and I will say right there tells you itâa a solid choice ( the other two restaurants are Buffett and family style) for familyâ s who have individual taste and appetites . We had reservations both nights which were on a Friday and Saturday ( Saturday was a little busy than Friday) . Our server on Friday Anthony and he was great( friendly , attentive , easy going ) my wife and I both had cocktails both good ( old fashioned and a mule) I had the Blackened Salmon big portion on vegetable and potatoes and nice size on fish for me. Wife has the hustle and Brussels salad she said was amazing ! My daughter had chicken fingers both nights which according to her good. Second night my wife and I had the turkey club which was delicious as well. The restaurant is quite loud itâs right next to the play areas of the Lobby of a Lego hotel with kids everywhere and a nightly kids show. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone visiting this hotel...
Read moreSuper convenient Legoland Hotel restaurant with excellent service, delicious food, and great drinks! We ate here a couple of times over the weekend. Shout-out to our amazing servers and bartender this trip - Alyssa, Jose, and Anthony! Regarding our son's food allergy, they were very helpful and had gluten-free options available (including gf buns)! Let your server know if you have any food allergies. Very kid-friendly! Right beside the restaurant, the kids can play/build in Lego pits or watch a Lego movie in the little theater! We always eat dinner here on our Legoland Florida trips! Highly recommend making a reservation (no wait)! Note: Noise level varies depending on the time of day. It is loud during the nightly shows (when we tend to book, but we know that in advance). If that will bother you, then I recommend dining before or after the scheduled nightly...
