11/12/2022...UPDATE...down to 1 star. I know about inflation and I get it that you have to make your margins, but raising prices while lowering the quality is just not acceptable. Also, prices on the board should reflect what you are actually getting charged. The kid tells me what i owe...I look at the board and it's a lower price on the board. I tell the kid that it's a lower price on the board and the kid says you raised prices. I would bet the state department of weights and measures would have fun with that answer. Also, tell the kid behind the counter to actually act a little like he really cares to be there. Food used to be better but being close to Legoland gives Taco Bell leeway to lower quality but put prices thru the roof. Soft tacos were greasy beyond belief. I know this is fast food and I keep my expectations low, but this was way below the usual fast food experience. Luckily it's near Legoland, so visitors to our area will only have to suffer thru this type of food and service for a few days. I am a local and am debating on whether to go to MOES down the street where the food is better than for what I paid for here. After going to the Taco Bell sight and filling out the survey, they asked me to provide a Google review. Well you asked for it...
Read moreOpened about 2016-2017, so it's clean inside and offers mobile ordering. Beware that the end of the drive through lane is at a corner with ZERO visibility to the left to see cross-traffic!! The front of the building is literally the curb! After drive through window, swing to the right several feet so that you can see a little to the left and turn slowly so any cross-traffic from left can stop. There is an entrance/exit to the road behind the building, which is easier to use than trying to use CG Blvd entrance/exit and driving in front of the Dollar Tree. Out of a couple dozen visits since opening (almost all drive through), I've never had bad service, but once stopped for breakfast and waited for 5 minutes at drive through menu before someone spoke and said they were opening late (8am instead of 7am) that morning. This Taco Bell and the McDonald's about 2mi east on CG Blvd are the two clean fast-food restaurants on this side of town. Wendy's is old/dilapidated and Steak n Shake is abysmally slow (read all its...
Read moreExcellent location. When they first opened up years ago I was skeptical because they really didn't take the time to train their staff before throwing them in there. This meant that for nearly a year you would get inconsistently made tacos with the incorrect ingredients or portions.
After that they had a complete turn around. I enjoy going through the drive-thru because I know orders will be quick and accurate. The staff is friendly, but not overly friendly to the point where it feels fake.
They're also up to simple modifications such as substituting my beef for black beans. This seems like something I should just take for granted, but I don't. At least one staff on hand knows that this can be done at no cost so I've never had any issues.
They seem to run out of new food menu options quite quickly, though. I'm not sure if this is the manager not ordering an adequate amount of ingredients or just a very high supply-and-demand inaccuracy. Either way, it's not worth deducting a star because they always have...
