I have been a customer of this establishment for many years. My son and I went together last Friday. While they were busy on the inside and out, they did make room for the two of us, on other side of the bar where to-go orders where piled up. my son order hibatchi, which took a while to come out- I understood this due to how busy they were. I ordered two sushi rolls. My son's food came out, he ate and my food still wasn't there. the manager, which I know said " are you waiting on something"(I felt like she asked me this to rush me out of my seat) I said " yes, my food", somehow even though I told her what rolls I ordered, I still got the wrong order. I literally took 1 bite before the waitress came and gave my bill and annouced my total in front of everyone- honestly that's tasteless. I noticed that our waitress was friends(based on their conversation, I couldn't help but hear, you have to scream to speak to anyone due to the noise level) with the table behind me, they ordered apps, and food and were in and out before I even got my food. ( They came at least 30 minutes after me). The sushi was sub-par at best and I didn't even eat one of the rolls because the fish tasted rotten. I seriously hate to even give a bad review but it needs to be brought to managements and the owner's attention. The quality of this establishment is going down. It's over crowded, the servers rush you to get out and the food hasn't been that great the last few times. I hope this review is read with an open mind and they make some changes. I cannot say that I will be back for a long time due to my...
Read moreI feel we need to clear the air about this awful review left below by Sergio Colin. We were at the table next behind them and it was very apparent they wanted a free meal. Yes the kid ate shrimp and a few minutes later developed a rash on her arms, a clear sign of allergic reaction, not poison (bad mom for not knowing this). The server felt bad for the kid and convinced them to go to the drug store for medicine. They came back 45 minutes later and asked the server to box up their food (even the poisonous shrimps). They were not charged for anything so I don't understand the bad review. I guess some people just want to do harm to others, it's their nature. Only 2 complaints I have is, sometimes you have to wait for a table because it's so busy and second they have no procedures to weed out cons who know how to eat for free.

2 weeks ago NEW Dine in | Dinner Our 4 year old daughter was food poisoned with shrimp from the kids menu. The manager was not really worried, as she was too busy trying to take and serve orders. My wife’s beef teriyaki was also served cold. Think it twice before having dinner here. Definitely not a good experience. Food: 1/5 | Service: 1/5 | ...
Read moreAbsolutely delightful! My husband and I have been going to Tsunami for several years. It just keeps getting better. The new location had the same feel of the former location, which was comforting. The food is next level! Ginger salad was full of pretty produce that was cold and crisp. Dynamite ginger dressing, fine chopped ginger and hint of garlic sets them apart from the rest. Miso soup has a very rich flavor that is seasoned perfectly, with an added tofu bonus. The fish is on point, tastes as if it is caught fresh daily. As for the sushi...if you like edible art, it's a must try! I would recommend going for the chef's specials, as they have never disappointed. My new favorite roll is the 'Monster Mash' roll. The complexity of flavors is astonishing, your tastebuds will definitely thank you! It is great addition to an amazing menu. The staff is very friendly, speedy and efficient. All the servers checked on us and chefs weren't shy to explain their creations. Reasonable prices considering the portions sizes and quality of the food. Timing of courses was auspicious as well, leaving us satisfied on many different levels. Thank you Winter Haven Tsumani...
