I've visited Legoland Florida multiple times, and each visit has been a delightful experience for the whole family. The park's standout features are its fun rides and the wonderfully family-friendly atmosphere. It's a place where the joy and creativity of Lego come to life.
One of the commendable aspects of Legoland Florida is its inclusion programs for disabled visitors. The staff at guest services are incredibly helpful and go out of their way to make the visit comfortable and accessible for everyone. Additionally, the character meet and greets are a hit, especially with the kids, adding an extra layer of excitement to the day.
However, there are a few areas where the park could improve. One significant drawback is the inability to prepay for parking. The wait to get to the parking lot is consistently long, about 30+ minutes each time I've visited. This can be quite frustrating and is something the park should look into.
Another disappointment was the early closure of the Pirate River Cruise ride. Despite the sign indicating it remains open until 4 pm, it was closed at noon due to reaching capacity for the day. This was a letdown, especially for those planning their day around specific attractions.
Furthermore, the Fast Pass system could use some rethinking. The guest entrances for most rides are often the ride exits, which leads to some confusion. Ride attendants frequently assume you're waiting for a rider, and you have to actively indicate that you're using the Fast Pass to get their attention. This could be streamlined for a smoother experience.
Recommendations to the Park: Hiring an efficiency expert could greatly alleviate the issues with parking and Fast Pass queues. These are areas that, if improved, could significantly enhance the overall guest experience.
Recommendations to Future Guests:
Bring a cooler with nonalcoholic drinks and snacks, as the park allows this.
Ensure your gas tank is full in anticipation of the parking lot wait.
Visit guest services if it's your first visit or if you're celebrating a birthday for a special button.
In conclusion, Legoland Florida is a fantastic destination with a few areas needing attention. With its array of attractions and inclusive environment, it's a place that promises fun and memorable moments...

We attended during Nnjago weekend. Our grandson met a number of the main characters while at Legoland.
The park is smaller than I imagined. It had plenty of rollercoasters in its different AREAS (for lack of a better word... areas are kind of like LANDS at Disney). It has locations for the toddlers... adorable, but our grandson is older.
Wow!!! The converted parking is brilliant!!!
Favorite moments: Love the boat ride, free from a track... the car ride seemed similar.
The closed theater (forget the name) had quite the sensory experience!! Water, blasts of air, 3-D glasses...
The incredible Lego buildings and cities are incredible to look at, BUT kids don't appreciate the difficulty and awe of accomplishment.
The theater with the ninjas and trampolines
Rollercoaster dragon
Kung fu training moves for kids... great event. Our grandson continues to demonstrate his moves... video worthy!
VERY CLEAN RESTROOMS... always a plus
Anticipating: Water ride looks like a soaker!!!
Food options are good. Vegan options: Beyond burger, vegan chicken, vegan ice cream options... FYI, BEST FRIES EVER!!!
I'm not seeing what makes the park appear to be lacking. It's an energy. The young people who act or work seem to lack pride in their job...I don't know if they realize how much importance their magical impact is upon the children. When children buy into the magic, the adults/ parents do too.
Suggestions for Legoland-- Create energy and interaction with children... Need sun covering for workers in trampoline ninja theater Need happy Lego employees in the Lego stores... off of phones and charming purchasers (We spent a load of money in the stores... perhaps would have spent more if friendlier workers)
I think it would benefit Legoland to spend money in hiring someone who specializes in feedback and revamping a business.
Getting rid of the ski show-- HUGE MISTAKE. That's iconic, it's unique to ALL theme parks... and it's a favorite of children and parents alike!
Overall, this park beautifully appeals to children. It has incredible potential. As grandparents, we continue to build with Legos and purchase Legos for our grandchildren. Everyone should visit...
Read moreWe had a great time, kids had a blast! The water park is located within Legoland park, kind of in the back. We were lost at first. They have the “you are here” maps lol. Was able to find it after walking in the back towards the blue ford display car-after passing through Lego city. Not to far of a walk I guess. There were a few ice cream and snack stands along the way. Nice outside pizza eatery too. I found the snacks reasonably priced especially compared to other similar establishments nearby.
We got the Bubble wands for $20 from the Lego store near back. Disney has them for $40, so I thought $20 was a steal!
Kids aren’t allowed on rides with only a bathing suit (thinking back now, it makes sense). It angered me at first, having waited in a long line and not being allowed on rude bc of kids clothing. The Lego store sells kids outfits (convenient right).
The beach chairs or seating is plentiful, which is a nice bonus. Being that covid is still a thing, plenty of seating allows everyone to be spaced out, it’s nice.
There are also lots of safety vests for kids to use while in water). The waters depth is kid friendly-not to deep (which is awesome).
Oh, before I forget, entering was swift. I pulled up my tickets on my phone (saved them to Apple Pay after purchasing)-they scan them when you enter the main entrance and also when you enter the water park. There’s a mermaid splashing water on everyone once you enter the water park, watch out!
Anyway, the large play area (that you climb on, slide down, etc.) does not have an area that will shield you from the water fall. We all got soaked-my intention was to walk the kids on but nope! It happened! I got soaked, I tried to escaped and run, there was no escape! Water came poring down every minute or so. It...
