Owner below threatened to call law enforcement on me lol I look forward independent to meeting the cupcake police. Please read my honest review. Owner trying to get it removed . Requested butter instead of vegetable oil for a birthday order. Owner/Baker said she does it in all the flavors except chocolate, saying “ the majority of people like it how it is “I said I wasn’t buying for the majority of people like it how it is,I was begging. I told her a few people at the party of heart issues and can’t do seed oil that It’s basically an allergy. She kept saying “I get it“ I understand “but people like it how it is“ I-offered to pay extra. She again admitted she uses butter for her own family. And said I want your business but no. She clearly does not want my business and she will not have it forever. . Vegetable oil is harmful and soon to be illegal. This was a reasonable request and should have been accommodated. I ordered cookies for my daughter’s first birthday. I sent inspiration pictures and it was confirmed they would and could create something similar. As other reviews have mentioned (wish I had read them) these cookies were not what I ordered. I understand that not everyone can be good at everything, I wish this baker would admit their limits. The cookies looked worst than what I could do myself and cost me an arm and a leg. When I asked for this woman to remedy her misstep, she ignored me and then basically told me “whoopsie you took them home so sucks for you.” When I picked them up I was on a break from work and they were handed to me by a teenager so I didn’t feel it was the time to argue. I didn’t know I was approving not being able to get respect enough to have a discussion. I can’t speak to their other work but go elsewhere for cookies. I had the terrible misfortune of dealing with SBCakery for my sister’s gender reveal party and the only reason I am writing this review is to hopefully warn others so they will not go through what we went through. We contacted Jamie a month prior to the event and provided her with a reference photo of the custom order cookies/cake pops/cupcakes we were looking for. Something very simple and cute for a gender reveal. Unfortunately, the cookies we picked up the day before the event were on par with the work of a true amateur and nothing even remotely close to what we asked for. I tried reaching out to Jamie to see if she was willing to work with us in any way since we were not satisfied with the work she did. Apparently, her store policy is you get what you get and you can’t get upset. Buyer beware when trusting her with your special events.
