Me and my friend dined in. We started off with the Painkiller & Mango Passion Margarita. I liked the Painkiller, my friend wasn’t a big fan of the Margarita but it was ok. I got the honey garlic & vbyz wings my friend got the grilled Accra wings. Both were yummy BUT I guess grilled wings take longer to cook, so my wings had to sit in the kitchen until my friend’s grilled wings were done. I’m assuming so it can all be brought out together. Problem with that is by the time my fried wings came out they were luke warm, if that. I like my food hot especially fried wings, so that was very disappointing after waiting almost 30 minutes for the food. We also got Mac & cheese, rice & peas & plantains. They were all very tasty but they forgot to bring out our plantains with the food. So after receiving our food about 15 minutes later, we received the plantains. Well, we were about done with the rest of our food by then. So now we have plantains with nothing to eat it with. To top it off I get my wings brought out to the table after waiting and I ask for ranch, they tell me ā€œoh you have to go to the front to purchase the ranchā€. No problem! BUT because this is my first time here and the cashier never asked if I’d like to add on sauce when placing my order because it’s not included. I had to get back up, get in line AGAIN, just to purchase ranch. Getting in line again (with people who are placing their food orders), after waiting 30 minutes for the food, then them forgetting the plantains, was really my last straw. Leaving off on a positive note, the customer service & food was good. I wouldn’t suggest dining in until they have a better system/structure in place. Luckily they have to-go if you decide to give this place a try. No separate line for pickup so you still have to wait in line with the people who are ordering.

I'm always excited to try a new neighborhood place and I have been driving past this place for months, so I finally made a special trip to buy and take some home. It was a little disappointing. I asked for flats only, I did not get them. I asked for Blue Cheese, I did not get it. There is nothing more frustrating than to get your meal home and find it wasn't right. The wings, I would say, are more Caribbean style, if that's a thing. They were slightly breaded, which was unexpected, but still they were nicely cooked. The sauces seem to be very confusing and when I finally settled on on I thought would be a nice blend, it was pretty sweet. As a matter of fact, the whole sauce thing there seemed much like the sauce bar at Tijuana Flats, the fast food Mexican joint in the Northridge shopping center, but at least there, you can choose as many sauces as you like to try before you dump it on your food. (I don't go there any more because the kitchen looks pretty filthy) Anyway, the wings were nicely cooked, but the macaroni & cheese was pretty disappointing. I got there about 11:30, so I knew it would be fresh, but the pasta was very mushy and the cheese sauce just tasted store bought and bland. Not what I really expected from a local, black woman owned place as they are promoting. I would suggest you go and try it for yourself, like I did, but I'm not going back.

I want you all to know this is a mix review and let me tell you why. This place has in in business almost 5 yrs and I just found out about it and I only get to try 3 of the flavor wings. I promise to up my rating on my second visit and next time I going in a group set so it can be fear. However, in the mean time there are things I would point out that need to be work on. The DJ need to get is track together and that speaker outside need to be hitting just like inside. Second the alcohol drink the long island was more a short distance. The voodoo however was great and I will tell anyone looking for that good good drink the voodoo is the one. Let me know get to the wings I had. The Kingston was off the chain it was really good, the honey lemon I think and the ginger chicken wings was really nice as well. That being said I need to try the others. The service was ok however, can be better but the cashier can not greet everyone thay come in and the menu should be more accessible for us to review to make purchase and not just the board especially if you need to be seated before ordering. All said I am looking forward to the next visit with my boys because these wings need to be talk about.
