Today I ordered a family pack plus extra dishes on the side, I requested hot or spicy sauces, they said they only had spicy oil. I said thats ok and I requested two but they would only give me one, I was told one per customer, If I wanted more I have to pay. I'm sorry but I don't know any restaurants that charges for condiments, this stuff should always be included especially when ordering alot of food. I have never had any issues in the passed with this establishment and always order at least 50 dollars or more when I do take out. Since my last experience I will definitely reconsider conducting any business here or recommending to friends or family. With inflation prices sky rocketing everywhere and people trying to nickel and dime you on top of that, I think this is outrageous and on top of that these places always try to obligate the customers to tip. It's not an obligation but a courtesy and I think it should work both ways. If I'm told I can't have something simple has a side of spicy sauce after order a large amount of food then I feel no obligation to be generous and give away more money. These businesses are really pushing customers away and well it's always for a...
Read moreMy family has been ordering from dragon tea house almost religiously every Monday for the past few years, if not longer. I’ve personally been eating there for over 15 years. Tonight was the straw that broke the camels back. I always order special fried rice and the last few times the rice has been flavorless and bland. My wife orders wonton soup with extra crunchy noodles because the little one (our 3 year old son) loves his crunchy noodles the next day, and they have come up short. Well tonight, as usual on a Monday, we order our normal meals and experienced disappointment all round, again. The rice was dried out and tasteless as per the last few times and the “crunchy noodles” were in fact not as we ordered. The soup was accompanied by pretzel sticks because they were out of the noodles. A litttle heads up would have been nice but they just sent what they had with no regard for what the customer requested. When my wife called to discuss the issue, they simply said okay and goodbye, while proceeding to hang up the phone. This will be my last order with dragon teahouse, which brings an end to a long...
Read moreI am not a food critic but have always enjoyed "good" well prepared Chinese food for many years and I definitely will not be going back to "Dragon Tea House" again after my 2nd trial experience with this restaurant! Last week I picked up my take out order only to find when I opened the bag when I got home there was a very strong burnt smell and taste to the food, "not very pleasant at all"! The Beef on the Beef sticks had a very unusual gray color to them like possibly bad cooked meet. The BBQ Spareribs were tiny and burnt and the fried chicken wings are totally dry like left overs from the day before. When I picked up my second take out order today the egg rolls appeared to have a very pasty look on the inside and did not taste like a good typical egg roll at all.. and once again a very foul burnt smell odor! The restaurant overfills the container tray with rice to try and make it appear the customers are getting alot of food for their money but actually are not!!! Stay awayyyy!!!! Spend the few extra dollars and get good Chinese food at a well established long term restaurant!!! You'll be...
