St Lucie Draft House Fl — Restaurant in Florida

Horrible place. Extremely unprofessional and rude. I was dining with my fiancé and grandfather trying to watch a football game. Server was already short and rude from the very start. I asked to change the tv and put volume on. Manager comes up to do it himself seemed very short and ignored my fiancé when she tried to tell him thanks. Next the server walks another two guest and sits the in the booth directly next to our high top way less than 6 feet apart. I tried to say something to the server but she walked off and the couple agreed with me that it was too close and opted to move on their own. (Restaurant was fairly empty at the time since it was 4 pm on a Sunday Very unsafe to seat customer so close during these times. Especially since we all aren’t wearing mask bc we’re trying to eat. Next thing the manager walks up and tells us if we do one more thing we’re out of there. Pointed at my grandfather said he cursed at the server (which he did not he’s a very docile and kind man) he then proceeded to say that my fiancé was making the customers and staff uncomfortable!??!!? WTH!!!! He told me to never tell his customers to move they can sit where ever they want. My grandfather was very confused and was trying to explain no one cursed or had any problems were simply trying to enjoy a game. The manager looked dead at him and literally said “I don’t believe you” I was extremely upset at the way he made my grandfather and fiancé feel. I was trying to explain that we did nothing to anyone and all he did was say “I’ll cash you out, you’re done” and walked off. So at this point I’m livid, my fiancé is ready to cry, my grandfather is baffled and extremely confused and we were all very embarrassed bc people are staring at us. He comes back with the check my fiance hands him the card he snatches it out of her hand and walks off brings it back throws it down on the table very rudely and started to walk off my fiancé tried to ask for a Togo box since we hadn’t had the opportunity to finish our meal and he literally said no. I paid for poor food the shrimp breading was soggy and the fries were over cooked way to salty and I couldn’t even carry out the food I PAID for. Should’ve never paid for that meal should’ve never stepped foot into that poorly managed and extremely unprofessional place. DO NOT expect to be treated fairly if you’re a black person trying to dine at this restaurant. They don’t follow cdc guidelines for social distancing, they don’t care for the safety of their customers, they have no idea how to treat their customers and make them feel welcome. Absolutely Horrible place, ruined my family...

Have gone to this location SEVERAL times, the customer service as a server is always good, the management itself is another story. I’ve always been big to support local businesses but I will never step foot here again and will deter everyone I can so they will not encounter experiences like mine.

Almost a year ago, I was pregnant with my daughter and they served me boneless chicken wings with veins inside of it, once I brought it to the managers attention she was combative but was able to remake the order(which I didn’t want) because I was “costing them money to re-do it” and I was treated as I did something wrong by ordering this item. I ended up paying and taking the wings home for my husband to eat and stopping on the way home for fast food.

Meanwhile I have gone back and have eaten in this location about 10+ times in between these instances without any issues.

Now fast forward about a year later on a Thursday, I went to this location again with my mother and they have plastered EVERYWHERE that kids eat free on Thursdays, you just have to buy a drink. So I did. I purchased an apple juice for my daughter, thinking the Mac and cheese would be free. WRONG. They charged half of what the child’s meal costs for the drink, it’s not free on the bill and when we brought it to the servers attention who admitted it was rung up wrong, the server got the manager to correct it. Of course the manager approaches the table and was combative, very argumentative and came in a threatening manner which wasn’t needed. We tried to get a simple explanation on why this was charged when it was free. She admitted they charge half of the meal and it is not free although it says it is. She even went as far as telling me we should be thankful my kid had Mac and cheese & the room is full and nobody else is complaining about the price, just me. She also remembered to date of when we had the chicken wing instance (over a year ago) and somehow tied the two together and was screaming at us about both instances which caused a major scene amongst other tables eating.

Both were two entirely different situations, years apart. Neither should have played off each other but the way management handles situations is childish, immature and entirely belittling to paying customers. This location is a huge scam and when they are confronted or shown they are wrong in any instance they blow up and make you the issue.

Save yourself the money & go eat somewhere deserving of it, because this is NOT...

I loved this place & food, but unfortunately, we suspect one of my mother's drinks (alcohol) was drugged after she experienced intense symptoms such as weakness, forgetfulness, dizziness, ect. She was out for lunch with her husband and ordered an alcoholic drink. After drinking some of her beverage, her husband pointed out that her skin was pale and she went to the bathroom a few minutes after that. Then, she began experiencing the weakness by barely being able to keep her eyes open or even stand up from the toilet (fully clothed). She eventually weakly walked over to her husband and handed him her keys, knowing she wouldn't be capable of driving back home at all. The car ride there, she says she was only able to feel where she was, but she couldn't keep her eyes open at all. It definitely was not alcohol related, she was passed out for nearly the entire day after her lunch there. She then says she doesn't remember much of the weekend that followed, and her head was still very cloudy even a couple of days after this incident. This is all just allegations based on our experience. We will not be pressing any legal charges, but I'd highly advise the management keeps their attention on bar staff and security cameras in this location to prevent any vulnerable individuals from being taken advantage of or possibly worse.
