Run far away from this place! My son worked here for a week and was discriminated against due to having a medical issue. I advised him to quit, as I am not going to allow any of my children to work for a company that treats their employees with such disregard. The store is “managed” mostly by a bunch of teenagers and the “manager” Greg is a complete disgrace to their company. As a single mother of 5, I work two jobs and receive Medicaid and Foodstamps for my CHILDREN. Due to my son quitting this job the state assistance program requires me to have a loss of income form filled out in order to continue receiving benefits. Greg not only refused to sign it, but told me to get a job, a second job and a third job (as well as telling me to make my children get jobs; which the ones old enough work do currently have) and stop receiving free money. I have this phone call recorded and am turning it over to the proper parties. This is completely unprofessional and unethical. As a manager myself I would NEVER treat an employee (former or current) or their family with such malice and prejudice. I can guarantee that I work more hours in one week then this “man” works in two or probably even three. Every cent of my income goes to my family and our bills. I work 17 hour days 6-7 days a week and I have worked that for the last 3 years. I have held down 2 and sometimes 3 jobs while sleeping a lousy 2-3 hours a day and still running a household. This man (and I use that term lightly) has absolutely no idea what our family has gone through. Losing the breadwinner of our family 3 years ago surely hit us hard and I have done everything in my power to make up for that loss. To have this “man” chastise me and my children for something that is no fault of our own is absolutely ridiculous. The fact that he is refusing to sign this document and putting an entire family at risk of losing benefits speaks volumes about his character. I am not letting this go. I will be taking this as far up the ladder as I can. No one, especially those who work as hard as my family does, deserves to be treated this...

My son suggested a quick bite after going to T-mobile which shares the same building as this Tropical Smoothie.
I got the Turkey, Bacon, ranch sandwich, the (only) sandwich on their menu by the way.
It came with lettuce, but I asked for a little extra and asked to hold the tomatoe. I was very surprised to see, I was charged .50 extra for a few more pieces of lettuce! *See photo's.
I did enjoy my sandwich, it was very tasty but still a bit upset to see only after I got home about the up charge. Won't do that again!
I also did not like the fact that there are (no) Salt or Pepper shakers anywhere to be found. I guess since this is supposed to be a, "healthy" place that's why? They should at least offer little salt or pepper packets for those of us that don't necessarily eat healthy, lol.
The atmosphere was a tad boring. The place was completely empty and you could hear a pin dropped, no music either. I did like some of the posters on the walls. I also didn't care for the hard completely metal chairs that were freezing cold as you say down.
All in all, it was okay. Probably won't ever dine in again.
Oh, the staff. The young lady that took our order was nice and met us with a smile. The young man that brought out our food was very friendly and also had a big smile when he engaged us.
Lastly, I was a little confused about why our food was brought to us wrapped and in a bag?? I mean we weren't asked if it was to go but perhaps...
Read moreI just went through the drive thru which was about 10 cars long to get two smoothies for my husband and I. The attendant took my card and charged me and then handed me my card back with two wrong drinks we didn’t order. I told her they weren’t the flavors we ordered. She took them back and we waited 10 more minutes. Another girl came to the window and said we needed to go back around to the end of the line!! I told her we didn’t have time to do that and asked for a refund as they had already charged me. She asked for my receipt and I told her you never gave me a receipt!!! She refused to refund my money!! I went inside and asked her to call the manager. She came back and said we’d have to go to the website and file a complaint!!! I checked my credit card statement and there was the charge for $13.41. She still refused to refund my money and she knew I never got my order.
