I am a long-time customer and recently had an extremely concerning and dangerous experience. I placed a mobile order for a chai tea latte with oat milk. When I picked it up, it looked different than usual and I confirmed with the employee that it was correct. After taking a sip in my car, I immediately realized I was made the wrong drink - one that contained coffee and almond milk. I have a severe nut allergy, and this mistake could have been life-threatening. I had to take Benadryl and prepare my EpiPen. When I went back into the store to explain the severity of the error, the employee dismissed my concerns and asked, “What do you want me to do?” Their lack of urgency and understanding was shocking. It was clear there was no training on how to handle a serious allergy situation. I later learned from Starbucks customer service that employees are supposed to provide first aid in this type of situation. While a report was supposedly filed, nothing proactive is being done about the incident. I was only offered a $25 gift card. This experience has completely shaken my trust. The combination of a dangerous mistake and an employee's disregard for a customer's life-threatening allergy is unacceptable. I will not be returning...
Read morealways the best experience here! i’m a partner myself and this is the closest starbucks to my house, so i go here every day i’m off work and i can say with certainty that this is probably the best starbucks i’ve been to. every single employee has been absolutely lovely and my drinks & food always taste amazing. any time they’re out of something, they’re SO good about making sure i get the next best thing they can get me, and they’re so sweet about every single thing.
drive thru can get kinda long at certain times, which is typical of pretty much any starbucks, but the cafe has never been busy when i’ve gone in.
they’re STELLAR on the customer connections. i always have nice little chats with every barista here, and i absolutely adore every one of them. (thank you to myles who just gave me the sweetest compliment on my outfit!)
their patio area is awesome as well! nice furniture and a covering so it’s not too sunny! it’s been really nice to have during the pandemic since we couldn’t eat inside, and even now that they’re open indoors is still prefer it.
i’ve never had a bad experience here and i don’t believe i ever will. if i could recommend any starbucks in the area, it would be this one. keep making awesome...
Read moreJust to be clear, the 1 star I’m referring to if for the manager, whether she likes it or not!!!
I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Starbucks location in New Independence, Florida, Winter Garden. The manager approached us in a rude and abrupt manner, without even offering a greeting, to tell us to leave because, according to her, the dog was not allowed. As a customer, I find it unacceptable that the manager did not follow the proper procedure by not asking if the animal was a service animal before taking any action. When I asked her if she was the manager and reminded her that it was her responsibility to ask before asking us to leave, her response was ignorant and rude. I did not expect this level of unprofessionalism at a well-known chain. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that customer service is improved...
