I went here on Sunday Jan 26, 2025, I order my food and the time I was at the window and paid they had told me within two minutes to go park in the road are where cars come in, I said Iād wait there because I hadnāt gotten my food yet, and was told I need to move because it hurts there time Iām serving me, I said well you hadnāt served me my food yet. I also said there was know one behind me and Iād rather wait there the. In the driving are of the parking lot out by the front door then second girl came and then Iām assuming she was a Manager that had like pink hair or something rudely comes over and tells me I have to move and I so Iām waiting for my food and thereās nobody behind me so I would assume wait there versus out in the roadway area and she told me I had to move and then she said Iām giving your money back and you can leave without my food. I asked for a phone number for a district manager. I asked who the owner was a number for them. She said she doesnāt have it and she wasnāt given it to me. I then asked her for her name. She refused to give me her name. I said well I like to call somebody and I like to have your name. She close the window at me and ignore me terrible. Terrible service for the steak ān Shake. They need to do something about these workers. These workers are rude. They wanna fake your time on your servant of the customers. Their clock is there to see how fast they serve you well serve the food and then the clock goes off when you move. Donāt tell people to go park in the roadway area. Thatās what the drive-through is for you drive-through you donāt drive-through and go park. I couldāve walked in if I want to sit anyways Iāll find out who the manager is and I will contact them, but itās very rudely of a manager not to give a customer a name of a owner managerās district manager, and of course, her name as the manager that was causing the issue Think twice about going here people let them go under like so many other people do. This was the rude manager, or Iām guessing managed she wouldnāt tell me any names...

I finally had to figure out what was going on as this time it was more than last time by a few dollars. What I found in my inquiry was I guess when you change the cheese, they may or may NOT charge you +$.55. We ordered a triple plain steak burger ($4) & added cheese. They rang up a triple steak CHEESEburger, then an additional charge to change the cheese (that was never supposed to be on there). Not a complaint, more of a heads up. I love it there but remember this post if you yourself ever wondered the many variables in price for same items. Enjoy!
*I only notice these things because way back when I had a Sprint cell phone (2003?) & always just paid the bill. One day I actually looked at the breakdown. I was getting charged a $2 late fee every month, for 6 months. Measley, I know, but still incorrect nonetheless. I called them up & they gave me no problem about refunding my $12 after seeing I was never late. It got me thinking...how many of us never look at the bill? $2 x 500,000(customers) every month is an easy $1 MILLION for the company, no extra effort or payroll. My hamburger was dry I advised Tanya and she took it off my bill. Now Benjamin told my husband he did not understand my bill. I left a $2.00 tip on the table and wanted $2.94 charged on my card. My bill should have totaled $15.00, which I clearly wrote on the bill and initialed. My husband came back to the table to get me and told me that the guy did not understand. That I had to go personally and explain it to him. So as I approached him, he turned and left me standing there for a few minutes then came back. I was totally embarrassed. When he came came back I asked him now tell me what don't you understand about my bill. He really did not explain it to me just told me to put the tip amount into the machine which I did. But I've never ever done this all the past times I've been there. Anyway I did like his actitute. Acting like a wise guy. This the only time I've experienced in a Steak and Shake in the entire time in my life. So I rate my favorite restaurant a 10 this location a 10 because of Tanya and a 2 because of Benjamin. Thank...
