Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Pace

It's open for sure, went last night. The food tasted great, place was clean. And it did not seem like ANYONE working there really wanted to be there. There was a young woman named Hayden who was helping us at first, she was a sweetheart. But after the manager shooed her away whilst in the MIDDLE of my order, I immediately felt unwelcomed. (I have a feeling no one is too excited to work with this manager, side note. She was NOT friendly). Note, I have not been to Chipotle in a good while since we have not had one close. It felt like we were a BOTHER. Like WHY ARE YOU HERE?! That type of feeling. I asked about the rewards program, that seemed to be an annoying thing to do. I had to help my 10 year old order, guess that was a hassle. I asked about pricing two or three times, for sure, and that was DEFINITELY BOTHERSOME. We haven't had a chipotle in Pace, EVER. I don't have a backlog of Chipotle info. stored in my brain. They've only been open 2 days and Hayden's the only one who knows how to greet customers or smile. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don't know what's going on behind the scenes but NO ONE seemed happy at this establishment. And definitely got no type of, "Have a good night!" Or "Thank you!" Just the feeling that they'd be relieved to get rid of us. I am not exaggerating.

Update: Went back a couple of days later and was pleasantly surprised. I was met with smiles and nicer employees. Different employees, also. Was super busy. Still...

Simple as a side of black beans. Smh. I ask if she could put the side of black beans in the chipotle label side cup, and she replied it was only for Queso. But side she can put into 2 small clear cups and it was the same. So the cost of a couple cents had you lose 30 dollars and a customer at that location. SMH! C’Mon chipotle gotta do better customer service!! And I own stocks in this company!!!!! lol I see why the reviews are always bad At...

Don’t try to order a quesadilla in store. Was unaware it was an online only order and the manager felt the need to give me attitude rather than politely informing or offering any sort of help. Oh and the best part is it cost more than the in store menu options for THREE freaking ingredients; meat, cheese, tortilla. Not at all impressed with the overpriced food and subpar...
