I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Sardo's Pizza, and I must say, it was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I walked in, I could tell that this place was going to disappoint. The atmosphere was dull, the staff were indifferent, and the overall vibe screamed "mediocrity." But it was the tasteless pizza and the audacity of the owner that really pushed me over the edge.
Let's start with the pizza itself. I ordered their so-called "specialty" pie, hoping for a delicious and satisfying meal. Instead, I received a flavorless, greasy mess. The crust was undercooked and doughy, lacking any hint of crispness or structure. The cheese was rubbery and tasted like it came straight out of a package. The toppings were haphazardly thrown on, with no attention to distribution or quality. It was clear that no love or passion went into crafting these pizzas. I've had frozen pizzas that tasted better than this sorry excuse for Italian cuisine.
But what really set me off was the owner's attitude. He paraded around the place, acting like he was some sort of pizza connoisseur. Newsflash, buddy: just because you slap on an Italian accent and claim to have learned your trade in Brooklyn, doesn't mean you can serve subpar food and get away with it. This shmuck thinks he's from Brooklyn, but he couldn't make a decent pizza if his life depended on it. He clearly lacks the knowledge, skill, and dedication required to deliver a truly exceptional pizza experience.
To add insult to injury, the prices were exorbitant for the quality of food they served. I wouldn't have minded paying a premium if the pizza had been worth it, but alas, it was a total rip-off. It's quite clear that Sardo's Pizza is more interested in making a quick buck than in providing their customers with a satisfying dining experience.
I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Sardo's Pizza to anyone. The tasteless pizza, the arrogant owner, and the inflated prices all combine to create a perfect storm of disappointment. Save your money and your taste buds, and find another pizza place that actually knows what they're doing. Sardo's Pizza, you have lost a customer for life, and I hope others heed this warning and steer clear of this culinary...

If you’re craving authentic New York-style pizza in Florida, Super Sardo Pizza is the real deal. My partner, who’s a true Brooklyn native, was in for a nostalgic treat — and we both left impressed and full!
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted like family. Sardo himself brings so much energy and warmth to the place, treating every customer like a regular. It’s the kind of experience that makes you want to come back again and again.
The vibes? Straight outta Brooklyn. From the vintage, nostalgic memorabilia lining the walls to the casual, cozy setup, you really feel like you’re kicking back in a neighborhood spot in Bensonhurst or Bay Ridge, eating a fresh, hot pie with your people.
Let’s talk food: We ordered a Sausage, Green Pepper & Onion Roll, a Ham & Cheese Roll, an 8-slice Sicilian Window Pie, Garlic Knots, Stuffed Meat Slices, and Bianca Slices topped with spinach and tomatoes — and every bite was phenomenal. The crust was perfectly crisp, the sauce rich and balanced, and the cheese — oh, the cheese — just the way it should be: melty, gooey, and delicious.
The Bianca slice with spinach and tomatoes is an absolute sleeper hit — light, flavorful, and fresh. And if you’re a garlic knot fan, don’t sleep on those either.
Whether you’re dining in or taking it to-go, this Italian, family-owned and operated pizzeria is a must-visit. I may not be a professional food critic, but I know good pizza when I taste it — and this was, hands down, the best pizza I’ve had in Florida.
Highly recommend. Five stars all the way. Do yourself a favor and make the trip — your taste buds...

11/10/23 Update: The first pizza was stunningly delicious. Sadly, I question consistency now I ordered the same pizza today and although it arrived quickly thebottom of the pizza was nearly b l ack and hard as a rock, the sausage was way overcooked, tasteless and the pizza was a piece of cardboard. in addition, when I opened the box half of my pizza was upside down with cheese stuck everywhere. This bothers me because if you read the review from a month ago below, I thought I found the best of the best.....I didn't, the search continues let's face it fir 25 bucks for a 15" pizza it should be great EVERY time.
