Ok so let’s see. The guy taking my order had a death stare the whole time I completely and utterly felt like I was a nuisance to him. I understand Taco Bell isn't the best job on earth but I've worked in a similar food environment before and I sure as hell didn't use that as an excuse to be rude to customers. However I guess this isn't a big deal I'm not expecting any kind of service, much less good service at Taco Bell. They got my girlfriend's order wrong, I asked for her Crunchwrap fresco style (which in Taco Bell means no meat) and I just got a standard Crunchwrap. Didn't even feel like saying anything so we just kept the incorrectly prepared order whatever. I get up to fill my cup with water and the water comes out PINK? I approach the same employee from earlier and show him my water cup. He looks at me in the same way he did when I was ordering and almost as if he was calling me stupid he said "I know, that one's broken". Mind you there was NOTHING near the machine to say that it was broken and he didn't even offer to put water in my cup from the machine they have on the other side of the counter he just gave me the attitude of "that's your problem" and walked away. This wasn't even a stereotypical angsty teenager that you expect to be working here, the guy was I'm sure well into his 60s.
Summary: Every single time I come to this Taco Bell there is some negative comment to be said. Last time they messed up like 3 orders in a row and had to go back and fix them so I was left waiting literally 40 minutes FOR TACO BELL. With that being said, I'm not the kind of guy to whine to an employee, especially one who doesn't care, I will simply take my business elsewhere from now on. I'd much rather go to the nearby target and buy frozen food than give this place...
Read moreI never post things that are negative but enough is enough... I have come the taco bell on bird rd right next to the west side of the expressway SEVERAL times... I have gotten the wrong food, I have requested nicely to please NOT put the sour cream/guac at the butt of the burrito, they don't care, I heard the managers attitude towards me over the mic... they served me the nacho chips in the wrong container, one much smaller as if those nachos werent expensive already... plus they forgot to put the guacamole!!... i was given a stale chalupa!!.. NEVER a time where they get it right, NEVER!! And at the time I go im the only customer on line!! Aka a stressless line!! but I keep giving them a chance!... the sauce or sour cream is always at the butt no matter who makes it, which leads me to believe they were TRAINED BADLY!... the customer deserves their food done right!! It's the customers who are paying their salaries! It takes the same amount of effort to prepare it correctly as it does to prepare it wrong. If the customer repeats something there's no reason to get the order wrong... frustrated and so fed up. AND IM SURE LIKE THE OTHER BAD REVIEWS, THAT SOMEONE WILL MIRACULOUSLY WRITE AN EXCELLENT REVIEW RIGHT AFTER MINE, if not it's because I called them out on that! BTW it was at 2:15 am, too late to be dealing with a messed up order!... FYI, I was reading ALL the reviews while I was eating and had to stop because almost gagged thinking what could have been on my food, rudeness and lack of respect will do that.. and it doesn't help that people are saying it's not clean and that employees and managers are rude and dont care for your complaints, theres no respect to the degree that makes you wonder if they did something...
Read moreI personally enjoy Taco Bell, and this store kind of fits the bill, kind of.
See the food is decent, well decent enough for fast food standards. However, the ambiance feels very... Dated. It feels boring, slow, unappealing. I mean sure, you're going to a restaurant to EAT, obviously, but that's not the main thing, the thing is that it's a little dull. Music is either very quiet or no music plays at all, employees feel bored out of their minds, even less so they don't really talk that much (yes it's that quiet you can actually hear employees in the back sometimes), so it just feels like a library.
Bathrooms were in okay condition when I got there, paper and soap were stocked, it could have used a little cleaning on the toilet though, as it obviously had been used by someone inconsiderate enough for their own needs. I wasn't intending to use them but I like checking details like these.
Staff: 3/5 (Well attended to, sort of slow service speed, bored and tired employees, but well presentable) Location: 4/5 (It's close to a Target and Best buy and a couple other stores, so it's decent, but if you lived somewhere where there wasn't much fast food places, this feels sort of far to go to) Ambiance: 2/5 (Boring/no music, lighting is sort of bad, some seats could use some...
