I ordered the first time from them their pesto pasta bowl, the flavor was really good but the amount of oil was ridiculous tbh enough that I felt I had to mention it but the flavor was amazing so I had to order again. Upon ordering again I left a special instructions to use a lot less oil and I even took up the customer reps time to complain about the amount of oil and that I wanted a lot less this time to ensure that I would get the meal the way I wanted. I could tell they were busy but she took the time to listen. When I got my meal the second time it was amazing. No complaint only thing I could say was that they listened to what I asked and made sure that they gave the customer what they wanted. I’m a chef myself and it’s why I took the time to mention what I didn’t like about the dish and ordered it again with the specific modifications to see if they would do what I asked and they delivered. I appreciate the chef for making the dish the way I wanted and for the cr rep for not getting annoyed with me. I highly recommend this place to eat just make sure you mod the meals the way you want and if you didn’t like it the first time or feel you want to change something don’t hesitate to call and ask they will take good care of you...

I’ve been going to Il Bambino since I was a child the food has always been good for the price you pay. The French onion soup is a favorite of mine along with the lemon chicken. The pasta bowls are a great addition to the menu and the tiramisu is a definite MUST! It’s a staple on their menu and I can honestly say that it’s the best tiramisu I’ve had, there are some instances however where they serve it fresh out of the freezer and too hard to even cut through, but those instances are few and far in between. It’s also nice to see that there are still some waiters who work there today that have been at the restaurant since I can remember and they are the sweetest people. What I will say is that the cleanliness of the restaurant needs improving. On the last two occasions that I’ve gone to the restaurant and go to drink from the glass I’ve been served for the first time, I’ve found lipstick stains or lip stains from the person(s) who drank from it before. I have been going to the restaurant for years but unfortunately as the years have gone by the service has also. This place is pricey compared to most so you would imagine that the service would at least be decent. Over all I have no complaints about the food but I recently learned they tell their servers NOT to allow customers to ask for extra sauce or any substitutions. Although I had never had a bad experience until recently the last two times just put the icing on the cake. I ordered the same thing I always did yet I was told they don't make it simply because they didn't want to substitute marinara sauce for alfredo sauce. When I asked about this the new server admitted that management told her not to allow it. I have never gone to any restaurant including more expensive upscale ones that treated customers this way.
