I've been wanting to come here for years but haven't found the time. I didn't realize there were three separate businesses at this location. I thought it was just a taco place. I'll have to come back and try the others. I've been trying several food trucks and taco places lately and this is the first place where the meat actually had seasoning and I could taste all the toppings. The onions actually tasted like onions and the cilantro was bright and tasty like it should be. I bought three tacos. Asada, chorizo and AL pastor. Each taco had a delicious taste and texture but my favorite (which surprised me) was the ground chorizo! That was so delicious and tangy. Of the two sauces they provide with your food, I loved the green jalapeƱo sauce the best! It was spicy and brought out the flavor of the meat perfectly! The sitting area was spacious and had plenty of shade that would be perfect in any other weather but it is too damn hot to sit outside and eat spicy food right now. Mercy! I will definitely be coming back here, not only to try the other food stops but to get taco again! šŸ˜‹

Update Sept 2025 El Amigos is likely the best taco in Pensacola. I stopped by the other day and found the same laid back shady spot to enjoy some delicious street food. I had the tacos pollos and they were perfectly prepared. The chicken was tasty and finely chopped and the toppings were minced just right as to not go out the end with every bite although some of that is unavoidable. I can’t decide which sauce I like the best so I use both! I’ll definitely be going back soon. Urban Cowgill Update Sept 2025 Feb 2023 We stopped by here and grabbed some tacos. Wow these are great. They are near the airport. We arrived about 11:45am and just beat the lunch rush. The Steak and chorizo tacos are #1. As for atmosphere, well it's a taco truck! But be that as it is they have a deck with umbrellas to sit under. Very pleasant this time of year. We will definitely be back. Urban Cowgill February 2023

I learned about this place from one of my amigos. So, I decided to check it out. Walked up to this little food truck deck area, it was covered, and had plenty of places to sit. The cashier greeted me and was pleasant. I was on lunch break so decided to get my order to go. I ordered 3 tacos from Taco El Amigo and paid with credit card (says Chile Lindo on my receipt so maybe that’s the correct name). 1 asada, 1 pollo, and 1 pork for $8. Took about 5-10 mins to get my food after I ordered as they make it fresh. When it came out it was hot, and looked delectable. I sat in my car and dug in. Oh my… these tacos were delicious! Only thing I didn’t like is that I should’ve ordered 3 more. Not because I wasn’t satisfied with the portion, but simply because they were so good I needed more! 🤤 I’ll definitely be a regular lunch patron over there!
