I’m extremely disappointed. I have never been disrespected by a manager in my life the way this lady manager disrespected me & my fiancee. I am a VERY timid person who HATES complaining. I’m from another state & the Texas road house there was ALWAYS good. It seems they don’t know how to cook steak here. So let me explain, I was beyond embarrassed & HUMILIATED tonight. Managers are supposed to be professional & know how to deescalate issue but instead this manager turned a VERY small problem into a big one for no reason & came out hostile & raising her voice & did not give me the chance to explain ANYTHING at all. Because of my anxiety & how timid I am I didn’t even stand up for myself which is what makes me most mad. The way this manager acted was appalling & disgusting.
I came 5-6weeks ago & ordered a steak meal & they had a new cook & he overcooked my steak bad! It was hard & completely black. When I showed the manager (different manager than this time) she was so embarrassed & kept saying sorry & explained he was a new cook. She went to have it remade & when she brought it out it was completely raw so she took it back & tried again & brought it back completely raw again. Everytime she watched me cut into it she would profusely apologize when she seen the inside. I told her I didn’t want her to worry about & to just take the steak off & keep everything else on the ticket & we paid & tipped very well because I’ve been a server & I know it wasn’t the servers fault or the managers fault. I didn’t ask for ANYTHING for free but when the manager came back out she gave us a coupon for $30 off & said she wanted us to come back so they could make it right. I could tell she was genuinely sorry for the experience & she was a REAL manager. FAST FORWARD TO TODAY. I went in to use the coupon & prayed this time would be better. I waited weeks so the new cook could get better or hoped it was a different cook. I ordered a 8oz steak meal & the appetizer was amazing, everything started off good but the steak came out well well done but not super burnt like the first time. Just charred. I hadn’t eaten all day & decided to cut the charred parts off & just eat it because I couldn’t bring myself to complain since it was still edible.The first experience was not edible so I had to say something but this time I decided to make myself eat it and save myself the embarrassment of complaining.The only other thing they messed up was sending a 6oz steak instead of a 8oz. Small issue. I used to work at Texas Roadhouse in my home state & I KNOW WHAT THE STEAKS LOOK LIKE COOKED & RAW. So all I did was ask the server to change the steak on the ticket to a 6oz one. She didn’t seem to believe me since I had already ate my steak. ITS 2 OZ (WHY WOULD I BRING UP 2oz if I was lying) what would a few bucks do for me? If I was a scammer I’d try and get my whole meal taken off and complain about how overcooked it was & would have made a scene. But the server was rude & said she was going to get a manager. Then here comes the manager all hostile & mad & did NOT even ask me what happened. She came out mad & talking loud & that’s when I noticed other customers looking at me as well as the workers. I was humiliated. They messed up the last time I came & this is what I got this time I tried to come back for them to make up for the last time. I was mortified. She wouldn’t let me talk & when I did try to she kept cutting me off. She gave us no respect or anything & here’s the part that really upset me. She said, “some people are shady & just try to do this even though they got the right food.” Implying WE ARE SHADY & LYING! I was so mad but I’m not an angry person so when I left I ended up crying because I was so humiliated. They tried charging me for something I did not get but IM THE SHADY ONE? 😂 I had a coupon that covered most my meal & money isn’t a problem but I won’t pay for something I did not get. Read moreWell……. First terrible review. The greeting at the door was nice. We didn’t have to wait and got seated quickly. The tiny 2 seater table lol And bonus ! You get a cool ripple effect on the bum from the seat. In picture. TERRIBLE! Both sides of the table.
Our server came to the table pretty promptly. I asked for real butter. He returned with more bread and tons of honey butter. 🤦🏼♀️. I simply stated I’m sorry I wanted real butter. First sense of attitude. Water with lemon. He didn’t ask. I don’t like lemon. I dismissed it.
Next he asked what we would like to drink. I asked for a Miami vice. Simple I thought. Nope. I got a small glass with watered down strawberry and tiny bit of pina colada on top. Pictured. I asked him to replace it with a tall beer. He wasn’t happy I’m sure. I did say hey it isn’t your fault. You aren’t the bartender.
Well time to order. No paper. Just memory. (Order came correct surprisingly) I am soft spoken and he couldn’t hear me and I asked him to come closer. Big mistake. Big attitude.
Salad came. Missing xtra croutons. Oh well. Caesar salad though. Had only 2. Really ?
Food ——. Steaks were barely seasoned. I had the ribeye and it was only grilled on one side. Like what ? ??? The fat wasn’t even cooked. Ugh. But don’t complain cause he may do something to the food at this point. But I was nice. I could have been rude in return.
Half way through the meal he brought the check and Togo boxes. ?????? Wait so no more drinks or dessert. ?? Wow. Ok. We will leave.
We asked for military discount. We got a $1.50 off. Well had he asked I was also a veteran. So could have been polite there but he just looked at my BF and said thanks and shook his hand. I was very saddened. But at this point just wanted to go.

You sent me a voucher and I came in and tried the Bone-In Ribeye steak, green beans, mashed potatoes, onion blossom & sangria everything was Excellent. The steak was cook to perfect ( kudos to chef). I thoroughly enjoy. My waitress Christy was good and Nick came and offered his services. I will be back!!!!
After wanting to visit Texas Roadhouse so bad and so long, Sunday was the 1st time visiting Texas Roadhouse, I ordered a 8oz sirloin & grilled shrimp with broccoli & cheese & mashed potatoes with gravy and a Coke. It took over a hour to get our food when we did get it was cold. Trinity was a great waiter but we shared our concerns with Ashley and she made a to go order for me. When l got home l realized l was given beef cuts & mash potatoes instead of Sirloin steak, grilled shrimp, mash potatoes & gravy and broccoli & cheese. I called Ashley back when l got home their was no answer it was close to closing time. I called again Monday and spoke with a male manager named started with a D l believe. I shared my experience with him regarding the cold food, wrong take out order and that the onion in the beef cuts still had the Outside peeling on it, absolutely disgusting. I was totally disappointed and hungry that night l came home and went to bed. He apologize for the bad experience l had. He stated he would send me a voucher covering both of the meals. He took down my name , address, phone and email. He stated he would email me a voucher within 24 hours, as of today l have not received an email voucher nor a gift card in the mail.
I called again spoke with marketing manager she took my contact info and said she would get Ashland to call. I never received a call and l thought about using this place for birthday parties.
