I don't know about the food, didn't get a chance to try it so far.. Visiting town for the first time, found them via Groupon, they offered a good deal. Purchased it online, arrived, was ready to place the order.. then as soon as the server heard about Groupon, she said they are not accepting it anymore.. Terrible! If it is sold, it is already a done deal! We left the place, such a disrespect of customers!

No military discount, but a Groupon was available. Cozy bar, friendly staff, interesting mounts on the wall. Cook has developed an awesome deep fried cuban, which may border on sacrilege to cuban connoisseurs, and it was awesome!

First time in. We went because of all the great reviews. Clearly a locals and regulars bar. Our waitress/bartender was very nice, but the drinks were not that great. We had pizza which was great after our 45 min wait time to get it. Another person in our party ordered another pizza about 15 min after we placed our order. After almost an hour of waiting for that we told our bartender we needed to leave. The pizza still was not done yet per the cook. Shouldn’t have to wait a hour for food. Especially when we observed no food coming out of the kitchen while we waited. Will never go back because of that. Plus the music was so loud you had to shout to the people at our table just to have...

To be honest I was hesitant with the change that happened to my favorite neighborhood bar. After much debate I finally gave it a chance. I am incredibly glad I did. The new owner is great and truly cares about his establishment and employees from what I’ve seen. Speaking of the employees they are all incredible from the cooks to the bartenders. Every employee is personable and easy to talk to. The menu is actually quite pleasant as well with great burgers and not just serving “bar” food. I would recommend Tom’s Tavern to anyone who wants to get away from the drama that is local Tampa bars. Definitely give it a chance to relax, have a drink, and enjoy the...

I just got off of work and wanted a drink before going home so i thought I would go to the neighborhood pub that is open until 3 am. There were literally 3 other customers but I guess they didn't need the business.. After I Walked in the bartender looked at me went around the bar to talk to a couple of her friends I asked a couple of other people if they could help me they pointed to the bartender and shook their head. After 10 minutes of waiting I walked out and asked for the bar tenders name which she refused but a customer said Emily. What a rude and horrible experience. Won't ever go back.
