My family and I(party of 13) went to this location for Mothers Day, in which I’m aware that special occasions like these, restaurants are packed and service can be slow. As well, I believe I heard that this was the 2nd day that this Resturant “opened or was rebranded”, so a lot of changes and that is understandable that not everything will go perfect. HOWEVER, this service on this day was a whole other level of craziness, disorganization, slow, and so forth…. The Resturant was packed at capacity, by choice because the owner began pulling plastic tables and chairs to create more tables, then they squished all tables together to where waiters and the servers couldn’t get through and the people sitting in chairs were hitting each other from how tight they were put together. Then, sides came out within a 30-45 minute wait, some drinks never came, they did not have enough employees for the meat or tables, so it took my table almost 3 hours to get sides, drinks and meat(which is the whole point of the restaurant ). Also, not all the meats came out and some meats were ran out and they had to make it and then some came out a little undercooked. Sides were also sold out by 3pm. Then the desserts had to be made by the waitress, so they “could” hurry up, because the show was about to start and that’s an extra charge. I feel bad because the waitress was honestly doing her best with the actual mess that was occurring and she was doing the utmost, which we appreciated. To top it off, the owner was there, and instead of asking people how there experience was or to help what seemed liked an understaffed day, he was sitting with his mom to eat and was looking at everyone with the bad faces they had, the employees going crazy and never once tried to see if anything better could be resolved. Only time I saw him get up, was to make new tables to get more people to come in. I understand owners have a team so they can be “behind the scenes” and I respect that but we did not see a manager or couldn’t at least tell them apart, and if who I thought was a manager , then he was trying to help the staff serve. IN CONCLUSION…. the staff deserves better attention and training and the owner had the audacity to just sit there and stare at everything going on but decide to do nothing about it… even though I would believe that as an owner and it being a special; event and the beginning of the restaurant, you would be more attentive to feedback to try and go forward to make the atmosphere better but no…. Will not be going back to spend any more money on this...
Read moreThe place was extremely hot. The service terrible, we would only see the server if we stood up to call her. The rodizio beef very hard, plain. No flavor at all, and very hard. Not tender nor juicy. The first time we saw the gaucho was 45 minutes after we sat there. We got the side like 30 minutes after and the rice was just there in a plate, then all of the sudden we found chunks.of.lettuce in the rice and later on in the beans as well. They charged us $22.95 per side, 4 tostones. $22 95 for a portion of rice. When I checked the bill and noticed this, they started saying that they had fixed it and they didn't know why it was showing again. It took 20 minutes for someone to come and fix it, and then they were blaming it on one another, saying that the server was new and stuff. Terrible service, food and ambience . Eventhought it was $19.99 for the "rodicio" you get full tired of waiting and the gauchos never come to your table unless you call them and then they show up with chorizo and pork and chicken. We only saw Picasa once and churrasco twice because we kept on asking for it. It was always well done and dry. When we asked the gaucho he told us that it's only 3 of them and they have to cook and go out and serve the meat as well. Not even for $19.99 will I go back there. I prefer to pay $18 for a juicy perfect cooked churrasco next door at el palacio de...
