You may think that is your average Peruvian joint, but Mr & Mrs bun is anything but! I went with my friend on a Wednesday night and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. We ordered the Pancetta (Pork Belly) Sandwich & Asado de Tira (Short Rib) Sandwich with horseradish mayonnaise and chimichurri.
The Pancetta Sandwich (Pork Belly en caja china) is to die for! First, the homemade bread is super good, Flavorful and tastier than your regular storebought bread, then you have a perfectly cooked and super crunchy pork mix with the sevichada mayo that makes your mind travel to the heart of Peru and tastes the flavors of one of the most complex cuisines in Latin America. This one is my fav Sandwich in Miami hands down. The Asado de Tira (Short Rib) with horseradish mayonnaisee and chimichurri is a punch of flavors, you can feel the love put into the prep of the short ribs, slow cooked to develop those complex flavors well balanced with the chimichurri and horseradish mayonnaisee this sandwich must in my next visit. Don't let appearances fool you! is not a fancy upscale restaurant but is perfect for a casual date night. if you want to impress your palate (or you love one) with a different perspective of a Peruvian fusion cuisine this is the place period.
I, without doubt, will...

Still a place with food that tastes good, but their prices have skyrocketed beyond acceptable levels, the customer service has diminished and be aware that the desserts are smaller if you get them to go ($10 ea); unfortunately, there was some insult added to injury when we asked the server regarding the size difference for the same price and she stated that the change is for safety reasons 🙄 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Then, the icing on the cake… We send them an Instagram message and the person who answered dares to reply to us as if it was a need for us to go to their restaurant, thus, very unprofessional.
Advise to the owner: WE don’t NEED your food, YOU need customer like us, but WE pay not only for food, but also for quality service.
Prior review was 5 starts, now 2 and will not return.

Now this is food with incredible taste! In addition, the establishment is decorated in a way that you just feel welcomed. And to add a few more positive words, the food is not only tasty, but also garnished in style, wish the priced were a bit lower, but it is understandable, quality comes with a price and more so in these times. I encourage you to have some coffee and dessert as well, which are quite...
Read moreWe heard about the Peruvian couple’s restaurant (love family owned eateries) on Triple D. My son had an appointment in Kendall so we found a reason to stop by for lunch after driving 70 miles from home. We ordered chicken fingers for my son tasting very good served with red and blueberry ketchup. The blueberry is house made and extremely well tasting with a hot, large portion of shoestring fries served in a cute metallic bucket.
My husband enjoyed the Asado con Palta specialty sandwich stacked high with meat, avocado and crispy red onion on their house made bun. The meat was flavorful and very tender.
I enjoyed my Butifarra of cured ham, aioli sauce, salsa criolla and some pickled red onion also on their superb bun. As a side, we liked the dark roasted garlic, parsley potatoes. The sandwiches were filling, and beverages were famous brand bottled lemonade and iced tea you can purchase anywhere in supermarkets. We were disappointed they didn’t offer their own house made beverage as above. Perhaps they serve something Peruvian, but we didn’t notice on the menu. We didn’t try their desserts, unfortunately. Visit their website with good photos with descriptions of...
