We ordered the tostadas trio with crab salad, the fancy rainbow roll & the geisha roll. At first they made an honest mistake and gave us somebody else's order. They were quick to find out and went to the car to apologize. However when we got home and opened our food we realized that they had gotten one roll wrong. Instead of the Geisha it was one called Fusion. We were already home & hungry so we weren't going all the way back to changed it. Not gonna lie, the roll was yummy but not what I've ordered. The issue came with the roll that they had actually gotten right. The "Fancy rainbow" roll had a VERY strong fishy taste, they type of flavor that would linger in your mouth. Not fresh at all and the white fish had a very questionable look & flavor. Unfortunately even after taking the white fish out you could still taste it on the tuna & salmon. We couldn't finished eating it no matter how much sauce we put on it, it just tasted bad. Would not recommend it.
The crab tostones were okay but the tostones were cold and stale like they had been sitting out for a while.
I gave them 1 star because although the food was bad the service was good. From the moment they took our call to place the order they were really nice. To when the server came to our car to let us know they had given us the wrong order. But for the price that you're paying, almost $80 for 3 dishes + tip, I would've expected a much better, tastier and fresher sushi. I have had better Sushi for a way better price. Also, they do not put any ginger or Wasabi on any of the rolls, something that I thought might be standard for sushi bars. I might be wrong, if was my first time at this place and unfortunately my last time. Read moreI have never been more disappointed with this place. I used to come here a lot but it seems like I won’t be coming here again. We arrived here at approximately 8pm on a Saturday night. My boyfriend and I thought there was going to be a wait time. However, surprisingly enough there wasn’t. The restaurant was filled up, but we sat down immediately. We were greeted by our server ten minutes after we sat down and then we ordered a beer, a mojito sake, and edemame. At this point in time the restaurant was completely filled, so 20 minutes pass before the waiter took our main course order, but the restaurant literally has 8 tables and 3 waiters. Keep in mind we still haven’t gotten the edemame or the mojito sake. Shortly after, the drink gets to our table but still no edemame. 40 MINUTES PASS and we still haven’t seen one. Single. Edemame. INCREDIBLE. After an hour and asking about our appetizer, our only appetizer, the edemame got to our table. Side note: the table next to us received their FOUR COURSE MEAL in an hour and they got there after us! NO WORDS. And I haven’t even reached the best part of the night yet. After an hour of waiting for our food the waiter had the nerve to ask us if we’ve gotten our main course yet! NO. No main course yet but thank you for acknowledging the fact that we we’re still there, an hour after the fact. At the end of the night I left completely and utterly disappointed. Read moreUnfortunately I have to give this place one star because of their poor customer service. I you are unfortunate enough to be taken care of I believe her name to be "Tuye". You can clearly tell she is unhappy dealing with the public. She engages in conversation with the other servers and completely forgets about the costumers I watched the counter fill up with food from her costumers and even the person bringing the food was asking where she was because he was running out of space. I asked for a glass of water and never got it...I asked for shaved carrots in my salad and she told me they don't put that in the salad...I had to tell her that I would pay extra if I had to and she finally brought it after arguing with me over it a few minutes. Then we tell her we have a Groupon and she tells us is not for that location, when it clearly says 1 of 2. Then as my husband is paying and I'm in the bathroom she tells my husband with an attitude to make sure the next time he buys the right Groupon!!! I asked to speak to the manager and Gabriel Came to help, but she has no respect for the customers or her manager ....she began to argue with me over the Groupon. Needless to say we will never go there again...
