Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Florida

It pains me to write this. As a Vegetarian who has been looking for a decent healthy and vegetarian quick eat, I thought Tropical Smoothie was the place. Sadly, it doesn't look like that will be the case any longer. I was initially excited about this location's grand opening on August 11, 2023, and I've been a loyal customer since then. However, my recent experiences have been disappointing. Despite the staff being new and still learning, I encountered various issues, such as long wait times and order inaccuracies. A few weeks ago, I had a long wait for my food, but a dedicated staff member went above and beyond to resolve the issue. She not only apologized but also refunded my meal, offered the wrap for free, and provided discounts for future visits. Her excellent customer service made me want to return. During today's visit, I noticed that the cashier was struggling to navigate the register, and I even offered to order a side dish to make things easier for her. Despite my efforts to be understanding of the new staff, my experience took a turn for the worse. I ordered my favorite and usual order, the Veggie Hummus wrap (with no ranch dressing), but it came with chicken instead. When I spoke to the manager about it, I didn't receive a satisfactory response. They implied that I should have mentioned my vegetarian preference, even though it was the only vegetarian food item listed on their menu (aside from side dishes). Despite my loyal support since the grand opening and my efforts to assist the cashier, this recent incident has left me disappointed, and I won't be returning. It's unfortunate to see a rapid decline in quality...

Worst location ever! Skip it if you can. Unfortunately for me, this is the closest TSC location…I have had many bad experiences with this location but the last time was the LAST! The portions are always different, I call to complain a lot because they mess up often. We have gotten the wrong sandwich many times… The customer service is horrible, the managers are so rude. I’m really hoping cooperate does something about them because their arrogance. When they messed up our order they had the audacity to say they called corporate about us. Oh yeah? Well I hope you told them how incompetent every manager is. They all lie about being manager too so you never know if problem is going to be resolved. I want a full refund and they refuse. the smoothies are good, I do wish they had a few more options, or that the add ins didn't cost $1 each. which brings me to my next point, price. prices are ok if you want to pay for a smoothie with money instead of time (by virtue of making it at home) or if like me, you only get it occasionally. a smoothie with no add ins cost around $6-$8 (and the machine asks for a tip) and a big bag of frozen fruit is $6-$7 at a grocery store. the food portions are more like a snack, or brunch as opposed to a meal. my main issue is the music is WAY too loud! you can hardly hear the cashier, and forget about it if a blender is running. this makes it difficult to order. I wish the smoothies didn't come standard with sugar, I want to taste fruit not sugar, but that is easily removed when you order. all in...
