I walked into K&G Men’s Superstore desperate for a dress shirt to go with a suit, admittedly last-minute, but expecting at least basic competence. Instead I got a masterclass in arrogance and poor service. An employee named Shirley, who boasted about her years of expertise, measured me for a shirt. I recently lost a lot of weight and mentioned my concern about shirts fitting too large in the midsection. Shirley insisted the regular-fit shirt she picked was “perfect” and flat-out refused to let me try it on, saying, “You don’t think I know what I’m doing?” She doubled down, dismissing my past fit issues with a condescending, “Trust me, I’ve been doing this forever.”
Against my better judgment I trusted her and took the shirt home. Surprise: it was comically huge, billowing like a sail. Completely unwearable. When I returned to exchange it, the customer service desk was a new level of awful. The staff were rude, dismissive and acted like I was the problem for wanting a shirt that actually fit. I even overheard them snapping at another customer just asking where an item was. To make matters worse, I once again asked if there was any way I could try shirts on, since I’d already wasted one trip here, and the salesperson rolled her eyes and said no, you’re not allowed to try it on. This place breeds bad service.
I went to another men’s store, where they got me the same size shirt but in the right fit for my body type: something Shirley, with all her “experience,” failed to do. K&G, your staff and management needs a serious wake up call. Shirley doesn’t know what she’s doing, no matter how long she’s been at it. Avoid this store at all costs unless you want overpriced tents and attitude.

Read moreWE WERE ACCUSED OF STEALING AT THIS STORE. My partner and I were accused of stealing at this store. This was our first time looking at the store. We were really impressed with all the selections and jewelry. The manager a white old tall blonde woman was watching us the whole time. We did not purchase anything. but as we left the door beeped. I asked the manger if she wanted to see my bag and she said no you're good it happens. We leave the store and walk to dollar tree down the strip passing ross, I take out a slim jim from my tote bag. I then suddenly hear the manager yell at us outside " DONT COME BACK HERE MAAM! Don't come back here stealing in my store!! " She saw I took my slim jim out my bag and assumed I stole from the store. They don't even sell slim jims and I purchased it from walgreens. So I dump out my bag for her to see and out fell MY umbrella and I tell her " stealing what? And This is a slim jim!" Then she is quiet. And runs back into the store. Minutes later we walk into the store to speak to her and get corporates number. And supposedly she left and the employees did not want to give me corporates number. IF YOU ARE A PERSON OF COLOR OR HAVE A TOTE BAG IN HAND DO NOT SUPPORT THIS STORE. THEY ARE PREJUDICE...
Read moreI would like to know who is the owner or a manager of this store . I went today 1/10/2019 and there were no customers just the cashier and several employees at the floor to whom I greeted and they looked at me as if I was were from another planet, there was a woman at the jewelry department and I dared to ask her why because nobody there smile? She response that they were all too busy to be greeting people or smiling. I was speechless but I answered her and told her that just having a job is a big blessing, and we are and they are more than blessed. Nobody asked us anything when we was around the store, we were ignored. I've been living in Orlando for 29 years and I've never visited this store that I think is one of the few that has remained in our city and today I wanted to take the time to take my wife. They all had a face as if they hated their work . How sad ?? Because there are so many people who do not have a job and would like to work in a store like that. They have a variety of beautiful clothes but sad to see people who obviously do not love God's gifts. I...
