I’d like to start off by saying typically this Wawa is amazing. This review is strictly on the crew that I had the dissatisfaction of meeting today. Now with that being said... my fiancé and I come to Wawa very frequently, we told all of our friends about them ect. It’s a great place to grab a quick bite ect. And their custom drinks are great. Today, (2-13-19) to kill some time we came in and ordered a cinn/raisin bagel w/ cream cheese. And the new bbq brisket hoggie, not toasted for either. And my fiancé got the banana and chocolate cream smoothie. The smoothie was AMAZING and the young woman making them was friendly and all around wonderful. She is not included in this review. The team making the food however, was ... unfortunate. I asked for the bagel to be warm but not toasted and the cream cheese on the side. The bagel seemed as if it came from the fridge. It was hard and cold. At least they got the cream cheese part right I guess. The brisket was appalling. Firstly it smelt like dog food. And while I am aware we chose untoasted bread the entire sandwich was cold, meat and all. We drove to 7/11 down a ways on Blanding and had to microwave our supposed to be fresh meal. The bread on the bottom was soggy due to whoever putting it together failing completely. Upon opening the wrapping the sand which inners were everywhere except inside the bread and falling all over. We paid for extra cheese and had only 3 slices, although I am unsure if that is what would be appropriate it does not seem like extra. My fiancé , who is not nearly as picky as I am, made the comment that he feels as if it was meat from yesterday, and perhaps that is why it was so abysmal. I highly hope the two kids behind the poorly made “food” learn better customer service and how to properly prepare a meal. Read moreI called at about 12:16 AM. And waited and waited. Nobody picked up the phone. It took three phone calls of waiting and waiting and being put on hold to get somebody just to answer the phone and answer a question about if somebody would get on top of my order when I made one. By the time I got somebody on the phone it was almost 12:30 AM. How many people are in that store at 12:30 AM on a Wednesday night? I was going to order several things but the manager didn’t seem to help. Because I kept asking specific questions and The manager kept answering my questions referring to a delivery service. When I asked multiple times how long it would take them specifically to make my food once the order came in. Especially because it took three phone calls of waiting and waiting and waiting for anybody to even answer and then being put on hold to speak to a manager over french fries. I simply asked “would somebody get it ready immediately or is it gonna take a while, because I called three times and nobody answered”. And she kept answering my questions as if it was a delivery service issue. And I kept having to restate my question, telling her “how long will it take” for somebody to notice for my order to be there? Because it took three phone calls to reach anybody”. I love the store. But the service honestly is not wonderful. I am honestly disappointed and tonight I will not be ordering anything. Because I was going to order multiple sandwiches and some french fries. But due to the fact that it took three phone calls to get anybody on the phone, at a time when there’s likely nobody even in the store, makes me feel like the food is not going to be made as soon as it comes in. Read moreThe only reason I gave this the stars the way I did is because there is probably three employees total in that store that care about their job. I order coffee online every single morning. Dainsley and Lex I've never had an issue with my coffee. It always tastes just like it's supposed to. And a bright smile in the morning can completely turn your day around. But when the chick with the bright red lipstick, her name starts out with like Ty something. The caramel is always stuck to the side and when I ask her to stir it, she dips the spoon in and never even touches the sides of the cup. I now know when the two girls aren't working in the kitchen, I just have to go to Middleburg location. The only reason I come to the Orange Park store is because of the girls in the beverage side. If I was rating this to NOT include the one that keeps messing up my coffee, it would probably be fives across the board. But wasting time and money is not something that I'm a fan of.
