Went in to make and order just now on Sunday July 24th at 2:10pm and a woman who seemed to be the manager was standing next to the cash register have a full-blown conversation with what appeared to be a friend of hers. I stood there starting at her for about 3-5 mins waiting to see if she’d stop being so rude, stop ignoring me, and would finally take my order, but nothing. Finally she ended her conversation and decided to ask me how she could help me. At that point there was no way I was going to give my money to that establishment. I went across the street to the McDonald’s where they attended me quickly. The woman had the audacity to stare at me with a bewildered look when I told her that she could no longer serve me since she had me standing there like a fool while she had a full-blown conversation. I swear nowadays establishments can no longer find any employees that are worth anything. Instead of attending customers they are rude and obnoxious. They think they are deserving. What this Wendy’s needs to do is teach this employee, and I’m sure the others, professionalism and customer service. The other employees just stood there and watched her have a conversation instead of interrupting her and telling them to assist the customer. Not even so much as an apology from this woman. Didn’t think I would receive one with as rude as she was just standing there having a full-blown conversation while I have to wait patiently for her. Because apparently she wasn’t on the clock. And my time...
Read moreI stopped at this Wendy's while on the road from Tampa to Fort Lauderdale and hesitated as I approached wondering if the location was in operation from the lackluster outer appearance. I first went to the restroom which was abismal. The towel, toilet paper and soap dispensers were dangling from the walls. There was no soap or paper towels available. I should have taken these as a sign to keep walking to the exit, but decided to order a coffee and a Bacon/Egg/Cheese biscuit. The cashier poured the coffee and proceeded to open and pour individual creamers with his bare hands into my cup at the counter next to the register. As I waited nearly ten minutes for my sandwich I saw no less than 5 employees doing next to nothing...one one thier phone, another eating from the fry station and several females with long hair and no hair nets. I could not get out of this store fast enough, with a poorly wrapped and prepared biscuit that was hard and dry with unmelted cheese looking like something they pulled from yesterdays leftovers. Needless to say, my order went straight in the trash for fear of food poisoning. I give one star only for the "good morning, welcome to Wendy's" greeting. The fault for this lies squarely on extremely poor managment with an extreme lack of pride...
Read moreI really don't like leaving bad reviews. I came to this Wendy's the other night and was overcharged for my order. When I noticed, I drove back and the staff tried to issue a refund. Since I paid with a card, I was told it might take 24hrs. When I noticed that the money still wasn't refunded, I checked the receipt and noticed they refunded the money to a different card. I came back to the location and spoke to a different manager who told me to come back on the next day when her boss is there. I came back on the following day only for her to call her boss and to be told there is nothing they can do because they already refunded the money to another card. The person who I spoke to is the only reason I'm leaving any stars at all, as she tried her best to find a solution. It's not fair that I was overcharged for my meal and denied the number to their corporate office as well. The staff tried and I guess I'll have to be ok with that thought... My only recommendation is...
