Edit: Today was a very sad day. I stopped by to order a small frosty and small fries for a neighbor and was handed an overfilled Jr shake with a lid that was bulging on one side and huge glob of frosty oozing out of it and down the side. The little girl who handed it to me rolled her eyes and shut the window when I took it and asked "what the..." (That's as far as I got before she rolled her eyes and slammed the window closed) meanwhile I couldn't put it in my car, it was dripping AND dropping globs of frosty. When she opened the window I showed her and she just stared at me. So I asked for napkins and got another, more elaborate eye roll, in case I missed the 1s one, before she shifted away to get a new pack of napkins. She opened them as slow as she could then handed me a wad and "told" me to move forward. I told her I would have been more hospitable if shed laughed and apologized when she handed them to me, blamed it on the new guy, something but nope. Just pure attitude. So I told her I wasn't going to keep the napkins (and she was shocked to here it...how dare I hand her those nasty sticky napkins!) I told her I was giving them back to her and her eyes got huge as saucers. I wiped the globs off and the drips best I could although it had already dripped all over the side of my new car (and was a dried on gooey mess by the time I got home) I handed them back to her, frosty side down and then...moved forward. My clothes still got dropped on, the interior of my car, the cup holder needed to be cleaned out and the outside of my door. Just disgusting. I don't expect people to bend over and kiss my ehemm...but some common courtesy and good service is a must. I get that people get in a hurry or make mistakes but a bad attitude will get you nowhere. So if you want a good, quick burger, buy at your own risk. If you don't want to fight, stay away from this drive through window.
The staff and service is usually fantastic and the food is almost always right with the exception of new employees or the occasional short handed crew. The issue is the homeless community that lives in the woods behind and beside it. They hang out in the grass in front, panhandle in the road and take over this Wendy's parking lot as well as the fast food restaurant parking lot across the street. I am empathetic to their struggle. My heart goes out to them but...it is dangerous. If they stayed in the grass or the seating area it would be manageable but they wander and gather in the parking lot as if there are no cars. They step out in front of cars. I received body damage to my brand new car avoiding a homeless person who walked out in front of me from behind an outgoing vehicle as I was pulling in off the road. He walked out quickly then just stood there. He wouldn't move out of the way. I was half in the road and half pulled in with cars piling up behind me and a man just...stood there. The stress isn't worth the meal but I still go occasionally because the service and food is good. Give them a try for sure but hopefully more people saying something will help these folks get a more stable living...
Read moreMe and my fiancée ordered a Mobile order. We went through the drive thru to pick it up( it was a pretty long line). We stated we were picking up a mobile order and the new machine and the lady told us to hold on a sec. We wait about 10-15 minutes before they asked for the name for the mobile order. We finally get up to the window and the hand us the raven’s blood frosty and our 2 drinks( no straws and no spoons) then the cashier said that they need about another minute and a half and our food be ready and to pull back around into the long line again. My frosty melted while waiting as I had no spoon to eat. We had to talk through the machine again after another 10-15 minute wait. We asked for a new frosty because mine melted because of having no straw and the cashier gave us an attitude. We ordered our food at 10:31pm and got our food finally at 11:01pm. Then we had to go back through the drive thru to get the sauce that came with the Wednesday meal I ordered because they forgot it. And we also got our food cold. The food had been sitting up near the register getting cold the whole time they had us going back through the drive thru. We asked for mayo add to sandwich and never got it then we got a chicken sandwich that we asked for extra mayo on and never got it. This has been happening to us every time we have went. I think they need to work on getting their staff on track or re-training them or hiring new staff. There were way too many people working in there for it to take 40 minutes to get our food at a “FAST FOOD” restaurant. We will...
Read moreI'm assuming this is the one on US19 in Hudson, Florida. Never been so disrespected in my life. They said they had some new coupon books out and they had several on the front counter. I went to look at one and the person at the counter went nuts. Accusing me of reaching over the counter and litterly screamed at me. I told he I wanted to check one out, so she wouldn't let me look at on because she eather thought I was a thief or homeless. She picked it up opened it and held it about 3 feet in front of me. I went to pay with my credit card and she yelled again thinking I was going to reach over the counter. This is crazy! Don't put stuff your selling on the counter. She never ket me look through the book and told me if I wanted BBQ sauce I would have to pay for it! I spoke to the manager and said she needs to fire this racist lady ASAP. I know they have issues with homeless people because they have taken away the catsup station and had no napkins. Mabager lady said it's new corporate policy and there just following orders. All I can say if your homeless, look homeless or black or Hispanic don't visit there! After my wife and I finished our meal, we both are senior citizens, someone stopped behind our car and took down our license plates. We will never go into that store again. We are frequent customers for over 15 years, but that stops...
