Wendy's — Restaurant in Florida

I worked at Marianna Wendy's for 2 years and half. Was going to becom a manager next year. But i resigned to work for a Christian Camp, locally. So, I know first hand how difficult it is to get all the orders just right. And why things dont go the way they should at times because of certain factors. Fast Food restaurants are different in nature than regular Restaurants that you eat and dine at. Drive thru times count!!! If managers dont have it under a certain time say 120 cars, then they get fired have to replace employees. Its a mess! As the fry guy i tried my best to have always hot fresh fries ready. I usually would stop filling fries to allow the sandwich maker to catch up with their orders so that the fries stay hot and warm. And MOST of the time i had fresh fries down in the grease. Everyday I would fill a carton of fries and put it in the warmer for them to keep hot if its over 15 min old fries i would then dump and make new ones. People just dont understand how hard it is when you've got one sandwich maker. And they dont understand how difficult it is when your materials and product dont show up on the truck and you end up running out of things like tissue or soap to wash hands. The main sandwich maker they have now is a very excellent sandwich maker. Usually they have one or two that do sandwiches and we all pitch in bumping and sliding and helping each other. When its a very large line and customers have bad attitudes it makes it worse. So, occasionally we have cutomers with downright terrible horrible attitudes at either the drive thru windiw or front counter and very distasteful. Its like they cant even be civil when they come. Why get in your car and come to Wendy's if your mad at the world? Dont come, because they dont have time for that. if youve got cold chili or chili with No meat its because their best most greatest worker Clyde didnt make the chili. He has been working for Wendys 30 years and He makes the best chili in 5 counties, man ALWAYS has bucket loads of chili meat in the chili!!! So if you got chili with no meat its cause it wasnt one by Him! Again, Sometimes companies like this run out of product or materials an really good dedicated workers, like i was, have to end up spending their money to have the material that they need. So thats why!! Thats one of the major factors if the truck for product and materials doesnt have everything they need on it, oh well, customers end up having to do without. Shes awesome best manager i have EVER worked for!!!! I still highly believe in the B.L.A.S.T. method and Dave Thomas famous words "Do the right thing!" For ANY JOB!!! And most of the time, this the most second important thing because this is the most difficult, challenging thing for a fast food restaurant; " QUALITY over quantity!" No, their meat is never put in a freezer or comes frozen. Eggs are a 100% real. You wont find that at any other fast food restaurant!!! Trust me, i worked for them and Burger King before. And Their are people behind the scenes that NEVER really get credit and Honor for the hard work they do and the dedication that they have like Clyde. And people, who write reviews, often exaggerate actual wait times or how many people are actually in the lobby ordering. Yes they get busy lines, Full of ppl, But you HAVE to wait!!! Yes, and Fast food companies do prioritize drive thru because of wait times count!!!! Ppl cant sit there in their cars and just wait it counts!!! People need to be respectful and stopputting stupid comments about this Wendy's they have no clue how fast food works!!!!!! Be respectful!!! SOme of us workers actually care , are there for more than just a paycheck, and cant do anything about certain things!!They usually have Mobile, Door Dash, or Uber orders already made at the drive thru. It depends on what the day brings. IF you want this business to continue then please watch what you say about what you dont know about a fast food restaurant such as Wendy's!!! My experience at this store (Marianna)was the worst. This Wendy's has a reputation for bad service and bad attitude of workers. One particular but was not able to get her name. The poor little young lady was doing double duty, running register and meal prep, while this other heavy set woman was doing nothing. And I mean nothing. We stood in line for a minimum of 5 minutes. I'm not lying. The lady in front of me was, of course, there the longest. She was not acknowledged, and the overweight woman yelled at me when I asked for help, Not kidding yelled, including whom I think was shift manager. And the poor young lady who was doing double duty when this heavyset woman just stood there looking at us, not doing anything. I asked the young lady the name of the heavyset woman. She would not give me the information for fear of losing her job. Just sad! Like I said, a bad reputation. I've been there when others have been treated with disrespect. This is fairly new Wendy's right off the first Marianna exit if your coming from Tallahassee towards Pensacola and the last exit if your coming the other way on I-10, me and my wife and kids stopped in after my doctor's appointment and the ladies working was so pleasant and welcoming very friendly and helpful the service from these gals was 20/10 rating in my opinion and I had the new bacon cheddar burger and it was fabulous my wife had the same we was both very happy with our food and the kids had the usual kid stuff nuggets and Jr bacon cheeseburger lol they enjoyed their meals as well very clean and the dining room is open for public so we was able to set comfortably and enjoy our meal while I waited on the pharmacy to get my meds filled I highly recommend this place if your passing through or if you...
