I ordered the following for a family of five (5) people:
4 frosties Classic chicken sandwich meal w/ fries Chicken nugget meal w/ fries 6pc nugget Baked potato 3 Chilis Kids nugget w/ fries Kids burger w/ fries
The frosties were watery, and tasted like a dirty machine. All of the chicken, on the sandwich and all nuggets - were literally petrified. The chili’s were basically broth with little to no contents (but at least they got the flavor right). The burger was cardboard. All four (4) orders of fries, well, put it this way - we could wring out the grease like a sponge after washing dishes. The baked potato was actually pretty good.
We ordered drive-thru and checked our bags like most families do, to be sure there was nothing missing. We drove home, excited to have Wendy’s (we don’t eat fast food often). To our surprise the food was terrible, so we immediately drove back (keeping the chili & baked potato) to report the issue. I walked in, they couldn’t find my order in the system - which wouldn’t have been a problem if they gave us a receipt for the food (which they didn’t). The cashier got the manager, who was extremely rude - and setting a terrible example for her team. She said “sir, corporate doesn’t allow us to issue refunds on food that was ordered hours ago” - so I knew where I this was going and told her to locate the ticket in the system. After she located the transaction time, she then huffed and puffed her way back and forth from the register to the trash can, checking and throwing out the food that I’d returned. It was a very unpleasant experience, needless to say.
I think the store owners should know what type of quality they’re putting out, especially when the Chick-fil-A next door drive-thru and tables inside is always slammed. I saw employees behind the line with gloves on looking through their cellphone, the girl at the window was saying “I’m not doing that, I’m not doing that” - as we pulled up. Lord knows what she was talking about, but it was probably something that required manual labor.
The moral of the story is, Wendy’s store 11594 just lost another customer. We usually go to the Chick-fil-A next door because their food quality and customer service are amazing ALWAYS. But I guess that’s what we get for...

I said excuse me? She said order when ur ready. So I began 2 order. I only ordered 2 fries,1 burger n 6 cookies. Then said that will b all,thank you. NOTHING. I waited a few seconds n then said...hello? She said again...order when ur ready. I told her I just did order...did u not hear me?? No...I'm sorry,I didn't. Ok...r u ready? Yes ma'am. Told her the order again. Few seconds later she asks me what flavor lemonade I wanted. WHAT?? NOW IM UPSET. I don't want a drink...I didn't order a drink. Oh,well I thought u did. Did u want anything else? No but tell me what you have down 4 me?! She said 6 cookies n a fry. Wrong...I repeated it again. She said,ok I got it now. Sorry. Ur totals whatever. I get 2 window 2 pay n the girl says a different amt. I told her that's not my order,the totals wrong. She asks me what I ordered. Told her. She says sooo u don't want 2 burgers n 2 fries n a cookie? No. Repeated my order now 4 the 3rd or 4th time. She repeated it back n it was right. Gave me the total,paid her,n she hands me a drink. That's not mine. Oh,sorry. Hands me a bag,thanks me n wishes me a nice nite. I checked bag b4 I moved. Sure enuff,no cookies!! Knocked on window. She asks if I need something. Yes...my cookies!! Oh I put them in there 1st. They're on the very bottom. So I turned on my interior lite,took out the burger,the 2 fries n turned the bag upside down,looked at her n said...no cookies!! She says,I swear I put them in there. I said...u watched me take the stuff out...no cookies. Did u order cookies?? I asked 4 a manager. She's like well u might have 2 wait,were busy. Told her I'm not moving till I speak 2 someone. Closes window,goes n gets my cookies,I can see her doing it. Folds the bag over,comes 2 window,says here's ur cookies. Mngr said 2 give u an Xtra so there's 7 in there. Said oh thank u ever so much. You've been most helpful!! She smiled n told me 2 have a nice nite. Wendy's food is not worth the price anymore n it sure as hell isn't good enuff 4 me 2 go thru that kind of aggravation. Read moreAbsolutely Terrible service and LACK THEROF. Attempted to go through the drive through today and it is being run by an automated voice which was not working properly. When attempting to order it kept repeating back incorrect items, therefore I pulled around to the window. Upon pulling around to the window, there was a vehicle in front of me. The Wendys employee saw me while servicing the customer in front of me and began to yell out the drive through window at me that she could not take my order unless I ordered at the kiosk. I yelled back it is broken and immediately and with an attitude rolling her eyes argued with me and said it was not. I yelled again that it was malfunctioning taking the wrong order.....she continued to yell at me in front of the other customer saying that it is not broken and she cannot help me. This interaction had about 3 mutual exchanges, each being met with complete resistance from the Wendys employee. I am absolutely floored, I then pulled around and spoke to an employee who was outside and told me that this was the manager who I had this exchange with. This was absolutely unprofessional and to yell at me in another customers face and blatantly argue with me that the kiosk is not broken when it clearly was as witnessed my my passengers. Wendys you need to do better!! I don't know who owns this franchise, you should be warned your management is running off your paying customers with a bad attitude and very intentionally. If I were the customer at the window I would be appalled at having this unprofessional yelling match done in my face. I am still just stunned, if a customer attempts to use your automated drive through process and through multiple attempts it continues to ring up the wrong thing, at what point does a management staff member believe you and provide customer oriented service to gain the income for the business?
