Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They don’t answer their phones. Their corporate office doesn’t answer either. This location messes up my meal almost every time, and I usually let it go because I just don’t care enough to complain.
But the other day, I spent the last of my money before payday because I’d had a long, exhausting week, and all I wanted was a decent meal. One part of my order was wrong, and I had them fix it while I was still at the window—but I didn’t realize until I got home that while my partner’s food had been corrected, my meal was still wrong. I was missing my nuggets entirely. The person who messed up my order initially was a young kid, I didn’t get their name, but they had long dark hair and they were very nonchalant about my order when I first noticed one of my burgers was wrong. I should have probably taken it as a sign to check the rest of the bag, But I’ve even seen comments on here about that as well, it shouldn’t be on the customer to always have to check at this Wendy’s if their order is right or not. You guys need to actually make your orders right?? I understand these things do happen. I know McDonald’s does, Taco Bell, whoever—but I’ve never seen a fast food restaurant do it this often and this badly, and with that wildly bad of customer service. I used to work for McDonald’s and I remember people coming in all the time messing up their order and we always give them back their food if it was our bad even without a receipt. That’s called customer service. Because we knew it was our fault, we’re always working so fast and there’s always going to be human error in that type of job. So I wasn’t even being rude about it, because I understood that and I was genuinely just asking nicely if I could just get a replacement for what they messed up on. It’s so wild to me that there’s this type of low bar of customer service still out there.
To be clear, I wasn’t asking for a full refund or anything over the top. I went back the next day as a paying customer again, just asking for the four nuggets they forgot. That’s it. I know it sounds small, and maybe I shouldn’t care about four nuggets—but when this place messes up orders this consistently, it’s clearly a bigger issue. And it’s one that more people need to speak up about.
I tried to speak to the manager calmly and honestly. She told me she couldn’t help me without a receipt and that I needed to call. I explained I had already called several times, and no one ever answers—it just rings endlessly. She still refused to do anything without the receipt.
Let’s be real: any business these days can look up a receipt with the card used. But clearly, no one at this location—or at corporate—cares to go even that far. They made a big point immediately that I should’ve asked for the guys name who made my order, or called and asked (which how could I, they don’t pick up their phone??) and they didn’t even offer their names, nor could I even get a chance to ask because the guy who handed me my food rolled his eyes when I told him I may call corporate, and closed the drive-thru window in my face. Completely disrespectful, like wow.
This place has messed up my orders so many times that I’ve lost count, and I’ve stayed quiet about it until now. But enough is enough. I won’t be going to Wendy’s anymore—and honestly, if this is how they treat people, you shouldn’t either. It’s not worth the money, time,...
Read moreI have never in my life left a bad review for any place even if the quality wasn’t so good but this time I guess I had just had it. I pulled up to the drive through at 9:15 PM October 16th Sunday, first thing I noticed was 3 crewmembers outside. When I pulled up to the speaker, they took about a minute to take my order and I can hear them on the other side of the drive-through. Still outside. The drive-through girl was very nice. She repeated my order back to me so finally after 17 minutes of waiting, I received my food. I’m like oh good this should be fresh!! so after receiving the food, I put the food in the hot bag which I carry with me in case I’m going to grab a bite to eat for my husband and I. When I got home totally different story the food was so cold soggy the fries weren’t filled and they were old cold. I had ordered a triple burger for myself with extra onion and pickle add mustard and instead of using the big meat patties they put 4 small patties on it and no extra onion pickle and no mustard Unacceptable. My husband ordered a crispy chicken bacon burger I requested extra bacon.only had Two slices of bacon. I worked at Wendy’s 9 years ago, so I know how things should be.Overall experience was just terrible and the worst i have ever experienced from a fast food joint. I threw the food away and went to the Wendy’s on Beneva and Fruitville much better service over...
Read moreWe waited from 12:48-1:24 in the fast food lane, with only 4 cars in front of us. The parking lot was not full We ordered a "10 piece nugget meal with a Dr Pepper". He entered on the screen 6 piece. We corrected him that we asked for a 10 piece. Instead of deleting and correcting, he just added another 4 piece to the screen. We followed up and said "we asked for a 10 piece meal" he answered with the price and to drive ahead. We felt that was odd but whatever. As we approached the window, we expected to see only 1 or 2 people there that day, but it was fully staffed. By the time we drove away and noticed, he had just given us "a la carte" items rather than the meal we asked for. However, fries aren't worth another half hour of waiting. I was hoping the food was at least somewhat fresh, as we assumed they were behind and making everything as they go. It was not. It had the signature heat lamp chewy stale taste.
I've seen other reviews that mention how inefficient this place is. I should have checked...
