Wendy's — Restaurant in Florida

Came up to wendys, found out the lobby was closed at 930 instead of the 10pm that is posted on the sign. When we went thru the drive thru we were ignored for about 30 seconds until we backed away from the speaker and then pulled back up. When arriving to the window I watched the female manager (who was wearing headphones and had no name tag on) pull up her pants 3 different times before grabbing our 10 count of nuggets from the open top of the carton (so her hands were on the nuggets). When we asked the employee at the window to swap those out because of the reasons listed above, the female manager came up to the window in an aggressive way to tell my boyfriend and I that she did not contaminate her hands. We decided we didn't trust the food that would be served on her shift anyways after this poor example of personal cleanliness and potential contamination so we asked for a refund. We were told we weren't going to get a refund and we were not going to get our food. After driving away, I called the store to write this review with the name of the female manager and was told that the manager on duty tonight "had no name". I have never been more disappointed with a place...

The management here is awful. I stood at the counter and told the lady I was looking over the menu and when I needed her, I would get her attention. The manager kept screaming at her saying there were customers up front. And she would walk around and see me, I told her she was good and I’ll let her know when I needed help. The manager again kept screaming at her to help me. I told the manager she was fine and I was still looking over the menu. And proceeds to try and take my order after I said I was still looking. He got mad and stormed off. When I was ready, I told the lady she could take my order, and she walked over to help me. As soon as she got to the register, he took over and started demanding her numbers. I told him I didn’t want him to take my order, and he told her to walk away. Management needs to change, and needs to learn to respect their employees. The staff was nice, but the manager needs to be fired. He is always cocky and mean to the employees. I will be staying away from this Wendy’s...

I got two $6 biggy bag of crispy chicken and jr bacon cheeseburger. I ordered through drive through and when I get to the window the person seemed nice and I was told to go park and wait for my food. Mind you there was no one else there. So I assumed that they had to make fries and nuggets....after all there were no cars when I got there and who knows when was their last customer. So I get the food and my daughter checks the burger and chicken sandwich...and they were correct. When I got home, which it's not far, I take out my sandwich it looks good..nice and warm. And then I put my hands in the bag and I feel the coldest fries ever. Like they just came out of the fridge. The nuggets felt the same way. Very cold and old. I was so dissapointed. My daughter tried her burger and immediately was grossed out and threw it away. She said it tasted old. I do like Wendy's and it's the only one here so I just recommend asking for fresh fries and nuggets. And I guess take a bite of your burger before...
