T.J. Maxx — Local services in Parkland

Founded in 1976, TJ Maxx has over 1,000 stores in the United States and Puerto Rico making it one of the largest retailers of clothing in the US. The clothes are name brand and similar in quality to what you would find at a department store like Macy's but with a discounted price.

I came in to find a dress. I am not normally a fan of this kind of store where thousands of items are crammed together in racks and you have to hunt through everything to find what you want. If something does catch your eye they may not have your size because items are in limited quantity and inventory changes frequently. I am willing to do a cursory look around the store but if it takes too long to find something I usually give ip. It is well worth taking a look however because I always find the price tag to be a pleasant surprise. In addition to men's, women's, and children's clothes they also sell accessories, and they have a very nice houseware department.

On this visit I noticed they had very nice quality jewelry that caught my attention. This store also has the Runway which is a department of couture items and pieces by high end designers. I tried on one of the dresses marked down from $598.00 to $150.00. Even at $150 it would have had to look amazing on and it had some weird tassels that looked like curtain tie backs hanging from the waist. It was still fun looking through the higher end merchandise.

Although I left empty handed this time I have purchased gifts for people from this chain, purses, and really nice beach towels. The high turnover rate of inventory guarantees you will always see something new. This store seemed nicer than the one closest to my house. It's the kind of place that will get you to actually come in and look around instead of just buying something off the internet. Although I was not a Maxxinista this time I'll be back for the thrill of the hunt...

I have been shopping at this TJ Maxx since 1996 going twice or 3 times a month spending between $30 to $150 depending for what I need . The store is always clean and I almost can find everything that I need and only few times I couldn't find some item the cashiers and ladies are very sweet and friendly but Unfortunately the last Sunday on Sep/26/2021 around 5:00pm while I was looking at the colognes section and phone accessories for my Iphone12 pro max thats hard to find items the unprofessional IMMATURE SECURITY KID TJ Maxx worker was harassing me like watching me every minute he walked by me 3 times on that section after that when I decided to buy sports activewear clothing he kept walking so close right behind my back and in front of me several times irritating me and for no reason treating me like Im suspicious making me very uncomfortable .... while other people shopping and doing the same like me he acted normal I told one lady TJ Maxx worker about him and she said Im sorry telling me to contact the manager I told her I don't have time and i never ever had any problem since 1996 when I started to shopping at this store ...even when I walked to the jewelry section to meet my wife shopping the ignorant security kid right out the blue had the nerve to walk by me watching near and then when I was ready to say something he walked quick towards the restroom and later watching us during the line if wasn't my wife to calm down I would teach this immature kid a good lesson ...we both together spent around $185.00 by the way . TJ Maxx should hire better employers I hope the manager take action because Im not coming back at this location Next time Im not gonna tolerate this kind of aggravation I will record this ignorant security kid and send to my lawyer to take legal action....

I LOVE shopping at TJ Maxx. Everything on one floor! Crazy reason, but I like this. We all know all TJ’s are not alike. Some are more fun to shop in than others. This one just took first place, because of the Store Manager, Linda. You may not believe this, but she showed and cared about Customer Service! That's a novel concept for TJ, most of the managers are busier than one-armed wallpaper hangers! I’ve never experienced Customer Service like this. Her store was clean, neat well stocked, calm but busy. This store was next to my doctor's office not the closest to my home. I will drive past the other stores to shop here from now on. Thank you for hiring such a qualified young lady.

The next day I realized I was missing a few items (I went to wear my new shoes🙁), I called the store and the fine young gentleman working the night I was there helped me. He checked everywhere he could, but did not find my missing loot. I was not able to bring everything back the next day as he asked, because I was told no more driving. I need surgery ASAP. I'm not sure what will come of this but God will figure it out. My eyes are more important than any material...
