Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Flower Mound

In my opinion, this is one of the best restaurants I've ever visited because it offers an outstanding variety of food options. Their menu includes burgers, fries, hot dogs, chicken, grilled cheese sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, ice cream, and mozzarella sticks. I ordered a SuperSonic Double Cheeseburger meal with medium cheese fries, a large Dr Pepper, a small Oreo Blast, and a 4-piece serving of mozzarella sticks, and I loved everything! The employees are incredibly nice and helpful. I highly recommend Sonic and encourage you to try their food. I hope they continue to offer the same great options and enjoy lasting success for many years to come.

I love Sonic and come here often, but I feel that I need to speak out about something on my last visit. The straws that we got with it drink appeared to be some kind of biodegradable type. They were horrible. First they have a bad texture that wasn't pleasant to use. The worst part was that long before I was done with my drink, the part that I put in my mouth starting breaking down. It began cracking which made it even more unpleasant to use. I also had an unpleasant taste from the straws for a while. It wasn't just my straw either as my while family experienced the same thing. I know we all want to save the environment, but find better ways to do it. Don't mess up the actually part that we put in our mouths. Thanks.

2\14\24 Since i guess you are only able to make one review per business even though you might visit often, i guess i will just have to add to this one. I have now ordered their new Valentine's shake twice and am a little disappointed in the product. First, it comes with the smallest dab of chocolate cream on top where the picture shows a large amount and the description even says "covered". Second the picture shows much more strawberries and the ice cream even being pink. Mine have had hardly any fruit and the ice cream is mostly plain vanilla. I’ve always used the Sonic app and today I thought I would try the Sonic double smasher for $1.00 thru the app.

I’ve always ordered through the app. My gift card used to be loaded in the app, but somehow a recent app update they’ve made removed it and my order history.

I still have money on the gift card, so I tried adding my gift card back to the app and it kept giving me an error that said “We couldn't save the gift card. Please try again later.”

I even tried deleting the app and re-added it and it still gave the same error.

So I went to the Sonic Drive-in on Flower Mound road in Flower Mound Texas. I told the attendant the error I was getting and that I wanted to order the Sonic Double Smasher for $1.00 in the app.

She said I’d have to order it through the app. I explained the error I was getting in the app and my futile attempts on getting it to work and she said they can’t help me. Even the manager told me the same thing. I left frustrated.

So I guess when you have a “buggy” app, some places are just not worth the effort to even go to, not even for a $1.00 sandwich special offer. If it looks like it’s too good to be true, it most likely is.
