6/13 Trash mouth at the drive thru AGAIN, but what do you expect from most Starbucks. Employees may use a jingly voice, what are they communicating--insulting customers, spitting gossip, spreading sexual and housing info--not Starbucks related content? It's so horrific that defamation and using an employer as a personal forum is acceptable--all to drink an overpriced milk at $5.60 a cup. I brought it to the attention of the manager, who knew it was going on, acted like she didn't, and then said "I am sorry for your bad experience", meanwhile the barista continued to spread gossip. Why doesn't the CEO do anything about all of the stores that do this?!?!
5/30 @12:15pm. Drive thru still spreading gossip and barista from front counter register. Customer even tried to correct one of them. Paid for 2 drinks and to be damaged. Feelings hurt, good reputation damaged, trash mouths stay employed.
5/17 The manager at this store this afternoon started gossiping again much to my dismay. They fixed this more recently. I have only come in a few times but the staff has been so much more friendly and professional. Today was the opposite
Spring 2024,The store has a large area with tables and chairs. The staff was slow in the afternoon. It took nearly 15 minutes to get a mobile order. The morning staff spreads gossip and talks inappropriately. It was really discouraging. I came here to work this morning and am hearing destructive words from the front after spending quite a lot for a large drink (lukewarm). Wishing people to have a nice day is not enough. There is no discretion about what they are doing and it comes from the managers as well. Starbucks stores are notorious for being gossipers and bad mouths. If there is a lawsuit against a business it should be Starbucks for mis-using their business for defamation of other people. Cruel and...
Read moreToday, I went to redeem my birthday reward at this location. After following the instructions in the email I received from Starbucks, I explained that I would like to redeem my birthday reward. The barista asked when my birthday was…I shared it was on yesterday. She then proceeds to say that I probably would not be able to redeem it.
I explained to her that the email actually states that I had to redeem it on 5/26 which is today. So she tells me to proceed forward.
After I get to window, I go as far as to show her that the actual email that I should redeem it today. She then proceeds to tell me that I must of placed my birthday wrong.
Appalled, I said…please give me my amount so I can pay and leave. I shared with my husband who was on the phone with me at the time…hearing the rudeness.
My husband later called up to the store and asked to speak to manager who…this same lady stated was not there at the time. So he asked her to make sure management called him tomorrow because he didn’t like the treatment I experienced.
I am SOOO disappointed. I can’t believe someone would treat you this way during your time of birthday celebration. It was so uncalled for and she never apologized or even said Happy Birthday.
I have NEVER redeemed any birthday treat from Starbucks….this definitely makes me never want to do it again.
As you can see from the pictures …my birthday was in my account correct and my reward shows I should redeem today!
So angry right now that I had to go through this! I forgot to mentioned that I was so startled by the interaction….I forgot to use my Starbucks account to pay for the additional items I ordered to get mg points.
Lastly, my husband’s Chai Tea was watered down and terrible....
Read morePlaced an order online. Got here to pick it up. With 6 baristas working(3 of them standing by the backroom having a lil pow wow, not actually working and the other 3 waiting on drive thru), and no customers in store, I stood there for 5 minutes before I was even acknowledged. Nice to know, I wasted $ off my gift card to tip, just to be ignored. Since they obviously care more about the drive thru, and ignore your customers at the pickup counter. Another customer waiting asked if I'd been helped, I had to say, "no I've been waiting to be acknowledged, so I can get my order" within earshot of a barista, to actually be acknowledged. And all 6 of the bariatas looked at me at various points, went back to talking or serving drive thru. Maybe y'all need to have management on each shift to make sure your employees are actually working, and not ignoring the customers at the pickup counter, just to serve drive thru orders. Cause if a manager was actually working just now, Saturday 6-21-25, at 1130am, that's even more sad. They got 2 stars in service, cause my coffee was still hot-ish, and mostly drinkable.
Another recommendation, have mobile orders out so I can get it and go, and not have to stand there and be ignored while my already made coffee...
