Kenova Smokehouse — Restaurant in Flowood

Went for lunch here a couple of days ago. The servers were both very nice. Restaurant was basically empty and pretty awkwardly arranged. I ordered a two meat plate and a drink. When the food came out I was pretty disappointed in the portions. They gave me 4 very small thin slices of brisket and 2 ribs. Both were pretty dry and honestly tasted like they may have been from the day before. The star was the mac and cheese which was delicious. The potato salad was bland. Quiet little shop in an out of the way strip mall near Schlotzkys. Leave it that way and go to Schlotzkys instead of getting ripped off for their mediocre food that is largely overpriced for Extremely small portions, just so they can serve it on a pretty white plate and feel that they're...

First time eating here and it won't be my last. I wish I had a photo but the food looked so good I dived right in. If you love BBQ this is worth it. Everything was delicious. I had the trash ribs with brisket chili and green beans. Let's just say they did not disappoint....
