My recent visit to Golden Corral with a group of three friends turned out to be a dreadful dining experience that left a sour taste in our mouths - quite literally. From the moment we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted with an overwhelming stench that can only be described as a mixture of cow manure and rotting garbage.

The first sign that our meal was going to be disappointing was when we approached the food stations. The buffet spread looked unappealing and lacked variety. It seemed as though the dishes had been sitting out for hours, giving them a stale appearance and taste.

The hot food section was equally disappointing. The once inviting aroma of a buffet was completely absent, replaced by an unidentifiable smell that was most definitely unpleasant. The dishes looked unappetizing and lacked any semblance of flavor. It was a shame that Golden Corral had let the quality of their food drop to such a low standard.

Our group sampled a few different dishes, hoping that perhaps we just made poor choices, but sadly, they all tasted equally awful. The lack of seasoning, poor cooking techniques, and evident lack of care in the preparation of the food left us questioning why we had even decided to dine here.

To make matters worse, the ambiance was far from enjoyable. The overpowering smell of what we can only assume was cow feces (perhaps from a nearby farm) made it impossible to enjoy our meal comfortably. It was evident that the restaurant had some ventilation issues or other problems that needed immediate attention.

On a more positive note, the staff members were friendly, but even their efforts couldn't make up for the poor quality of the food and the pungent odor that plagued the building.

In conclusion, our visit to Golden Corral was a disastrous one. The lackluster food quality, unappetizing presentation, and the pervasive smell of cow dung were an unfortunate combination that left us with no desire to ever return. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a buffet experience to steer clear of this particular Golden Corral location until significant...

The food was ok... Something I could've made at home would've been a lot cheaper and better! I work a restaurant kinda like this one and I will probably NEVER go there again .. Not worth $12.99 a person went at 12:30 pm (lunch/mid lunch) the servers that provide the food to the bar where you get your food seemed to be rude and lazy didn't want to put food out when they seen it was needed also NO meat selection what so ever just some "old" fish it looked like maybe 2/3 pieces some shrimp (little popcorn kind) probably the only good thing, toca meat, rolls, some Mac & cheese (didn't look appealing ), mashed potatoes, and random meat here and there (really only salad meat) ! NOT what to expect for a "home meal" like golden corral is supposed to be! The drinks and server also cashier was about the only thing great about this place (and I've ate A LOT of Golden Corral growing up! I really should've got my money back but it wasn't the issue money was the last thing on my mind! You'll need to step business up! Just a real review from the bottom of someone's heart that took time to tell how it really is! Lunch here is for people that don't really want much, or a "rabbit" because all the vegetables 😂 id rather go somewhere else with my business Sorry everyone just wanted to let people understand how it is here if you prepared yourself for a "GOOD MEAL" I would save your time! I've been here for dinner hours around 4/5pm and it wasn't this bad! This isn't a place to go during lunch hours to be honest unless you want salad a cheese burger fries tocas (something in a small manor) or some sweets Also bathrooms had a smell that I can't shake I couldn't even use it because felt the need to "throw up" from the smell 🤢 The server was a older lady, amazing, sweet, fast, and very respectful! I give her a 5+stars...

I used to love going here and had not been in about 3 years wish I hadn't gone today. It wasn't that there was a lot of people because there wasn't but one end seemed to have like 10 children that were running up and down and up and down and even though some employees told them to stop running the parents didn't care that they were running and bumping into myself who was on a cane or my friend who was on a walker. The meat either was so tough you couldn't chew it or so raw you didn't want to do it or tasted like it was nothing but water the desserts were extremely dry if you could find any desserts there was hardly anything sweet available. After spending what little income my friend and I have on a decent dinner, we thought, we were totally unsatisfied oh and let me tell you about the waitress she was extremely rude when we asked could she bring us some honey butter because it was clear at the other end of the restaurant from where we were and the kids were running around everywhere, she said yeah but I got to clean all these tables off first. After talking to the manager who looked to be 25 he said he would look into my concerns he apologized for my experience and said please come back as he will get the meat station and the dessert station up to the quality it used to be. He did not offer to even give a partial refund or a credit. Please if you go to the Golden Corral in Flowood Mississippi right off of Lakeland be prepared to have cold low quality food that you wouldn't even feed your pig. We got there at 4pm and there was not a dinner rush...
