Jack's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Flowood

Being a Long haul trucker is rough finding good food with good customer service at a fair price is more difficult! Today ( Friday) Friday, what is today? It’s August 08-01-2025 @ 9:49 pm I parked my truck at loves and walked over to Jacks family restaurant I first tried to place an order for Double biscuits and gravy, but was advised not gonna happen breakfast only which I find unfair due to if you’re gonna advertise something on the menu all day long then you should sell it all day long, but that’s just my opinion than I ordered a (4) Piece chicken finger meal w/ a large drink and tried to pay with $100 bill the cashier being Daija according to the receipt did not want to accept my money and started to make excuses then, when I advisor, that’s all I had she excepted it and gave me my change. Her attitude was foul. The look on her face was she hates her job or truck drivers or possibly even white people . Her customer Service to the African-American individuals that were behind me was much better customer service . She even had a smile for them and gave them conversation unlike myself . She treated them better than myself. she made me feel very uneasy with no desire to ever come back, specially after the remarks that she made to the other customers that were behind me about me, and they began to laugh. The chicken fingers were extremely small and my (2) sides being both coleslaw was warm I paid closed to $13.00 for the worst food and experience one could encounter at a fast food restaurant I will never go...

They just opened up and they already got managers with a funky anger problem. The food was terrible. They burnt my chicken dinner I had to get my money back. My family got their money back. Their supervisor Gloria had a nasty attitude and told me she didn't care about my family and I orders. Then I talked to one of the workers and they completely rolled their eyes at me and gave me dirty looks like they didn't care about my dinner order dinner up. I'm never eating at Jacks Restaurant ever again. The supervisor and workers both look like they hate their job. Terrible service. The manager Lawanda was yelling at some of the workers in the kitchen. Nasty terrible manager. I asked the cashier for the supervisor Gloria to help us. And Ms Gloria had a bad attitude with me and my family customers at jacks she told us that she didn't care about us and other customers orders. Ms Gloria is a terrible supervisor they got at Jacks. Me and my family are never coming back to Jacks ever again. We are sueing this Jacks restaurant for doing our food orders dinner wrong. They always pulling customers over at the drive through windows because they are too slow working on the food and drinks. They milkshakes machine is always out. We are not coming. They need to shut this Jacks restaurant flowood down because it's always getting a lot of...

When trying a new fast food place, I always find it best to try the most basic items before trying something else.

When it comes down to it, the standard basic cheeseburger is the absolute best way to judge a place.

The new Jack's just opened in Flowood - Hwy 80 across from the Outlet Mall - and I snuck over here to grab a quick lunch.

Their 2 Cheesburger combo with fries.

I really enjoyed the fries. Crinkle cut fries are some of my favorite and their fries are no exception. Crispy and salted perfectly. Their salt was a finer grind than most restaurants - I liked this a lot. Reminded me of the way potato chips are salted.

The burgers were good. Small cheeseburgers - as to be expected when you get two of them. Flavorful and seasoned better than the average fast food burger. Jack's sauce, pickle, onion.

Really enjoyed it. They have a much bigger menu that includes fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and even hand-scooped ice cream.

Good service too! Nice people.
