I love this place.

For four long years complained that the Gulf Shores area has terrible coffee shops. Everywhere else I've ever lived, I had a little coffee shop sanctuary decompress, caffeinate and get a something decent to eat. In Mobile, that place is Satori - and I finally have one for Gulf Shores now that Gypsy Queen opened in Foley.

I was getting my car serviced up the road and was just DYING without afternoon coffee and saw there was one nearby. (shout to to Jerrell & Angie - if you need a good, honest, & affordable mechanic, go see Jerrell. I drive past dozens of shops on my way to see him)

I walked in FULLY expecting the coffee to be terrible (no offense to Foley, but I was not expecting to find the espresso of my dreams here) but their espresso blew me away. The beans they buy (Mama Moka's I think? I remember they're from Auburn, AL.) made my eyes pop out of my head. Holy hell their espresso is good.

Ever since, I've been back multiple times a week. The owner and all the employees are super nice, and the ham, egg and cheese everything bagel sandwich is killer.

Please patronize this shop - I need it to stay open for many years to...

When my girlfriend called me for the 3rd time in a week and I was at Gypsy Queen Java, she said... I hope whomever it is, makes you very happy! Lol! It wasn't until I finally got to take her there last weekend that she finally understood why I was spending time at this place. Only when she tasted the coffee herself while relaxing on the retro sofa; did she understand why I would choose this place over the other options in the area. The coffee is definitely one of the best I have had and if for some reason you don't like it or if it is too sweet (as I read in another review) they are more than happy to fix it. The staff is very friendly which makes the experience so much better. The lounge is a great place to to chill, the owners artwork and style makes for a very comfy and enjoyable atmosphere. It is definitely...

Gypsy Queen Java has been a very pleasant addition to downtown Foley. And they are continually improving. As soon as you step in you will encounter a wonderful playlist of music that has Motown, Classic rock, reggae, and instrumentals. The baristas are friendly, have great personalities, and helps provide remarkable experiences to their customers. They have various drinks with names from hit songs like "Government Mule", "Raspberry Beret", and "Midnight Rider." They also have tea. And yes! They have food (quiche, sandwiches, and baked goods). There's also a lounge area where you can just chill, as well as a back lounge area. If that's not enough, they also have frequent user cards. This place is amazing! Definelty...

My wife and I were driving through town on the way home from vacation. Coffee is a must in the morning. We stumbled across Gypsy Queen Java! We are glad we did! My wife got the Stairway to Heaven and I chose the Government Mule. She had the Bacon Egg and Cheese biscuit. Mine was Ham Egg and Cheese bagel. The coffee and food was great! We loved the retro look and the relaxed vibe. And yes....I was nosey and asked if we could eat In the Lounge area! Perfect spot ! We both loved it! The young lady was so nice and did a great job taking care of us . Food. Service. Location. Atmosphere. 5 🌟

First of all, the lady that runs this place is amazing. She gave wonderful suggestions and was very personable and kind. The shop was super cute and the atmosphere was very calming and chill. The paninis were DELICIOUS! I got the turkey one and my husband got the caprese. Both of them were so, so good. My husband got the free bird latte and I got the cherry lemonade (you can get lemonade with any flavored syrup!) Definitely will come back next time we’re in Foley!

The latte I got at Gypsy Queen Java was so good! It was the first time I'd been and it is by far the best I've had in a while. My son has stopped in a couple of times to get a sandwich after school and he says their food is good too. I wish I had a picture to share of how cool the inside is so until next time, I will just share a picture of my drink:)! Great atmosphere & very nice folks that work here too. I really enjoyed my visit with you guys. ♥️☕
