This establishment has been around since 1927 and has become noted for their great desserts. This is a cool old school joint that mainly offers their desserts in the form of ice cream, shakes, sodas and other variations on ice cream treats. Less obvious is that they also offer actual meals here as well that are mainly burgers, hot dogs, salads and other sandwiches along with a few breakfast items so make sure to check out the menu. They used to have a pharmacy here as well but unfortunately changes in the business model forced the pharmacy side of the house to close and so they are now just a food and dessert joint. They have a model train that makes a loop throughout the entire interior of the space so make sure to notice that during your visit. Overall this is a really cool spot full of ambiance that is worthy of a visit!

From the train that goes around above to the old planes and cars displayed all around the nostalgic touch takes back to a simpler time with a respect for wars won fighting for our freedom. It's a place where one can slow down and let the hospitable staff take care of the rest. You may even get a peek or visit from the owner while inside. Check out the menu, grab a Coke or my personal favorite the Key Lime Pie shake! It's served in a malt glass with plenty left in the tin mug keeping it cool and frosty. 10 out of 10 recommend this incredibly...
Read moreI’d like to provide feedback regarding my recent visit. I've noticed that a particular staff member, the older lady who works in the afternoons, has been consistently rude. Additionally, I've encountered situations where I was upcharged for my order (which I did not mind), and it was followed by her complaining about how high food costs are, and that I should be charged more. I felt very uncomfortable as she was going on and on to other employees about it (and me)!! This is definitely not the Stacey’s it used to be…and to think this is all over adding extra (real) lime to my...
