Ordered filet hibachi and 5 different sushi rolls for takeout. Was told 2 of the rolls came with a free roll, so ended up selecting a total of 7 different sushi rolls. The hibachi was average- it is much better when dining in or at other times I’ve ordered it to go. 2 of the rolls were drenched in spicy mayo that even after wiping off that was all you could taste. Husband realized he was missing one of the ones we ordered (not a free one) So I double checked his receipt to make sure it was ordered (it was and we were charged) and then looked over the 3 containers we had (that were written on with black marker) No Fancy roll. Called back up there and got the same lady I placed my order with. Explained that we ordered a Fancy roll, paid for it, but didn’t get it. She told me we did and it was in the bag. I told her the bags (2 of them) were tied and I untied them both and unpacked everything as soon as he came in. We did not get the Fancy Roll. She said yes we did. I said I would double check the car in case it fell out (although the bags were tied shut) She said it was in the bag and I’m wrong, they gave us all our food and hung up. Checked, not there. Our bill was $120 and the fancy roll was $16.95. It isn’t about the money, but the way this lady handled it. Extremely disappointed and we won’t be going back. Unfortunate, bc it is convenient but I’m not giving my business to someone who is going to be rude to me over their mistake.
**EDITED TO ADD: Was contacted via text from Nancy, the manager. She sent a very professional text apologizing for the mistake and how unprofessional the employee was. States she will refund the $16.95 for the Fancy Roll and also offered a $25 credit for future use. THIS is how you run a business. I will accept the refund for food we paid for and did not get, and will give them another chance. I don’t intend to use the $25 credit- that was never the point. It was about how you treat people. I wasn’t in the restaurant, I don’t know how busy they were, or what the young lady was dealing with today. I just know she did not speak to me the way I felt was appropriate. However, Nancy did and bc of that, I will extend grace to this business and...
Read moreThe sushi was alright nothing special making me want to go back there specifically. Me and my mom ordered 2 rolls each, rice and calamari. The rice was alright nothing special but when the calamari came out it not only did not look anything like the picture on their menu but didn’t even taste how it’s supposed to, which it tasted horrible. At first me and my mom didn’t say anything until it really bothered us that we payed a decent amount for something that didn’t look like the picture nor taste good. We asked our server if we could exchange it for something else and she talked to the cook/ her manager and since we ate “half of the portion given” she would only give 50% off which we barely even ate off the plate because it was so disgusting. I think the customer service should’ve been better because any company should do anything to really make a customer satisfied and wanting to come back because it was handled correctly even if there was an issue. I wouldn’t have said anything if they would have done a better job with customer service but I’m just trying to understand was it really worth for them to not give us something else for exchange… and they also took it back which really restaurants aren’t supposed to do that. I hope it was worth saving a few dollars over losing 2 customers who will never go back again....
Read moreSam was a super rude server. She was not accommodating at all. They sat us at a hibachi table with other people who were already eating. We asked to be sat together at a separate table because we were a big group celebrating a birthday, and 8 people perfectly fit around one hibachi table. We asked the hostess to move us and when the hostess told the chef that we wanted to move She was snippy and was rude to the hostess in front of us—very unprofessional. Then she said, “I heard that y’all wanted to move?! Why?!”. She refused to move us. We were super rushed throughout the dinner. When we sat down we barely had time to look at the menu before she was asking us what we wanted to order, when we said that we needed more time she huffed and took the other people at the tables order. Less than two minutes later she came back to us asked if we were ready when we explained that we were not ready, she huffed again, snatched the menu from the people who had ordered and stomped away. She also gave the other people sitting with us a free appetizer. When the server brought it out, the couple said that they didn’t order it, Sam shouted from across the room, “yes you did”wink wink. So I hope she paid for it herself…Also there is not a baby changing station in the bathroom. Thanks for a wonderful...
