Drove past this place thousands of times, finally decided to try it, kind of wish I didn't. Ordered a western burger for carryout and decided I'd have a pint while I waited, which was estimated to be 45 mins. No big deal, it was new years eve at noon, maybe a few extra people in the bar. Got there and bar had most seats occupied but place was not packed, yet it took a good 15 minutes just to get a beer, bartender was nice and checked in often but had a bad habit of asking questions and then just walking away. Beer was very good. Cold and fresh, tap domestic. Food showed up, by then I was ready to pay tab and that took another 10 minutes because bartender again disappeared, but before she took care of that she was ready to handle refills for some regulars that had been served numerous times already ignoring me standing there with my card in the process.

Food was lackluster. Large portions, but the bacon on the burger was undercooked, and unrendered. I picked it off and tried the burger that didn't come with any produce on the side or even a pickle. Not great, like a home cooked burger with some seasoning salt. Ordered medium, definitely rare rare. Whatever, that's not a big deal, and the fries were okay....but the whole experience kind of sucked having now taken an hour and a half to get a subpar burger from start to finish. My husband and I stopped here on our way back to sheboygan when we came in at 815pm we ordered 2 steak sandwiches and 2 beers. We got our beer right away and sat down . We waited about 30 minutes and realized other people were getting their food and they had ordered after us . My husband said something to the other bartender and she checked with the one who originally took our order. Her and the other bartender rushed back by the chef without saying the word and just left us sit at the table. It took another customer that was they're saying something to her about our sandwiches for her to come over and explain to us what had happened. So then the bartender said we're putting your sandwiches on right away. So my husband and I sat there for about another 20 minutes until he went up and said something again then they proceeded to tell us we had ate our sandwich which we haven't even paid our bill. By this time it had been almost an hour since we had originally came in placed our ordered so we just left without paying anything after we had finished your beers and went to McDonald's and proceeded home to sheboygan. My friends and I were so excited to grab a drink on a Friday night at a local bar. We walked in and it was packed. We moved off to the side to figure out what we were going to order and where we were going to sit. Within 3 seconds a middle aged woman walked over to us with a drink in her hand and asked to see our ID’s which we understood being in our early 20’s. She immediately told us we needed to go to the DMV because our ID’s were verticals and not horizontal to her liking. She then asked us why we’re standing at the door if we were of age to which we responded in confusion “we just walked in.” She then handed our ID’s back and she said I hope these are real and you are of age.
