Oozy's Pizza — Restaurant in Forest Park

every time ive been through there has been a very long line that isnt moving, or one thing taking the attention of the entire staff, Staff isnt moving with a purpose. No one is trying to take orders and get people out of line. The last time we ordered online to hopefully skip the whole ordering "experience" and just try the food. We arrived when our order said it would be ready, our order was on the counter but the only staff member actually working with customers was busy with an issue with the previous order. While another staff member just sat around doing nothing. And the last we seen was busy on the phone. We sat there for almost 10 minutes before finally having enough and interrupted the employee so we could get our food before it was cold, we got home. The drum wings were dry, the flats were okay, both our pizza crusts had become soggy along with our fries, flavor of the jerk pizza was fantastic. I really hope this business implements a system, or hires a front of house manager that knows what they are doing. Customer service this bad will bury the business....

Personally I think it’s over hyped because the restaurant is black owned BUT with great power comes great responsibility.

Key takeaway: better customer service is needed you can tell their head is not where their feet are(!!) , minimal effort put into the food( dough was really doughy like frozen pizza you buy from the store and EXTREMELY thin for the amount of toppings I had (idk if they have deep dish), barely any sauce put on the pizza BUT the presentation was decent. Wings were very hard in certain spots which was annoying, I just spit it out but the sauce on them were okay.

First time trying, probably wouldn't be back without having specific asks like “extra sauce” on the pizza and “ please don’t cook the chicken hard”.

I came from seeing foodie with a cutie post and I will say that she made the restaurant look a lot better than it was. I’m not saying that it was terrible, but the wait was WAY too long. I waiting a hour and a half for 12 wings, one pizza, and one salad. The pizza I feel was the reason why it took so long. They only had one pizza oven going making one pizza at a time which took 20ish mins. I had the midwest heat and wet lemon pepper. The wings were good but the sauces weren’t all that. The Pizza and Salad (BYO and Crunch Craver) were good though I would definitely order those again. We also had the Jolly Rancher Dirty Soda, we had the Dirty no Soda 😂 If you are gonna come and try the food, order at least a hour ahead of time and then leave 30 mins after bc they are short staffed and it seemed like the staff didn’t know what...
