Sam's Bagels & Deli — Restaurant in Forks Township

Although this establishment is nice inside, I will never be going back here. Today as my boyfriend and I were waiting in the shopping plaza, we decided to stop in to grab a quick little breakfast sandwich. We ordered at the counter and paid right away. 25 to 30 minutes went by and our food still was not done yet. It was two little sandwiches it should not take long. It started to become crowded and I realized that our order still was not done yet. My boyfriend went up to the counter to check on it to find out that they never even had a slip for it and even though we paid and started drinking our drink. Employees kept walking around ignoring the fact that our order was misplaced/ looked over. Except for the young man behind the counter he was very nice. Trying to fix the problem. As a line formed behind us again I just asked for our money back for the sandwiches at this point because we had already waited 30 minutes. Thankfully another woman stepped in and was able to help get our money back. I understand establishments become busy, but the girls in the kitchen rolling their eyes and making comments was uncalled for. I have been going to Sam bagels since they opened and I can count on my hand the amount of times they have made a mistake on my order and probably have a few fingers to spare. Today was one of those days as I sat there patiently waiting after they kindly and quickly fixed the problem.

A gentleman walked in and used his loudest of voices to publicly shame a young girl saying she lacked in decency becuase she couldn’t get an order right. To that man and any other man who feels the need to do this. You don’t need to raise your voice your an adult yelling at a teenager over a breakfast sandwich.

Sam’s bagels in one of the last small business around they are mostly likely understaffed and if you haven’t noticed it gets packed in the morning because of how good the food is.

They don’t have fancy computers to keep track of orders. The place is loud due to the whole community being fed by them. Mistakes will happen but your food will always be great and real and that comes at a cost you want perfect head over to McDonald’s for a hormone burger and cheese. I am struggling with this review because I am regular customer. However, I must express my disappointment with a few of my experiences. Overall, their prices are very high, which I do not mind if the service and product is worth the pricing. Unfortunately, I believe the owner gives off a "stingey" vibe with all of the signs about up charges. I do not mind paying more, however, most of the time I order an egg and cheese, there is barely any egg on the sandwich and I feel like I am just eating a bagel with cheese. Efficiency seems to be lacking too when it comes to customer service and food preparation time. I hope that this can serve as "constructive criticism" in order to make some necessary changes, as I would like to continue being a regular customer.
