Asian Grill Express — Restaurant in Fort Collins

This used to be our go to place. Until the recent interaction with delivery & the discussion that followed. We've ordered from here for several years. The food is good, however, the inability to deliver what we pay for at the price that is quoted on their online ordering site is unappealing. Just to remind them to include it next time certainly got old. Burnt cashews were added once to my food because the owner stated they are expensive & her husband burnt them but they couldnt waste their money. But they are ok to waste mine on the burnt cashews? Again, I let it go... Recently I was snapped at by the driver, "WHAT? NO TIP?!" It's equally inappropriate. One, i figured in a tip at the price that was given on their web site. The delivery driver asked for $53.00 at the door. That is over $20 than what was quoted online. And then yelled about a tip. Also, we ordered off the lunch menu, it increased about $4 which wasn't an issue until the driver demanded what he said we owed. I even showed him the receipt online, it was around $30, although I knew the whole situation was wrong, he was mad. I called & spoke to the owner after paying & adding even more for a tip. Julie said it was a website developers mistake & they know about it and the online prices are incorrect. Although we've ordered from here for years & years tolerating the many mistakes & excuses because we liked the owners, we will NO LONGER tolerate being treated like this. It should not be the burden of the loyal customer to suck up the mistakes the developer made or the damaged food or not having beverages available but still advertising them. The online ordering system is not the customers burden & then to be doused with insult by a driver who thinks you owe him. Later, after talking to Julie, I discovered the driver was her husband. Now I wonder how many times has this happened? How many times did I pay more than i was quoted online? I've always trusted that they charged my card appropriately. I only caught it this time because I paid cash. Very disappointing & upsetting experience. If you eat here, double check your prices & charges. If you want delivery use the GrubHub app,be aware that the restaurant still delivers your food so make sure the price you pay is what was quoted online & include your tip on GrubHubs site so you don't get verbally assaulted at your door for the restaurants faulty online...

I use to love this place and go all the time. I loved the food and the prices were phenemonal. But the owners are CHEAP and if it wasnt for grubhub giving me the refund it would had been a waste of money. Despite having spending money there frequently when i came in my first bowl had teriyaki FILLED in the bag and rice was sloppily hanging out of the container. Looked like it was sloppily thrown together. It also didnt look like the sesame tofu that i love and adore. I admit: i accidentally ordered the teriyaki bowl which wasnt something id enjoy. I told the worker i meant to order the sesame tofu. The grubhub site confused me and i couldn't find the sesame tofu but confused myself and thought the teriyaki bowl was it. Mistakes happen and usually places take the food and make me a new one. They refused because they claimed it was a waste of money. Well, guess what Asian grill, you didn't get any of my hard earned money. I was issued a refund by grubhub. Its unfortunate they are so cheap. But at least now I know for future not to go there again. I would of given them one star if it wasnt for my past...

I have a few thoughts about this restaurant. To start off, I'd like to mention the food containers they use are super organized and perfect for food service. The customer service I received was less than ideal. The employee was in conversation with another person the entire time I was ordering. She had a facial mask on which I could understand if it was for religious reasons but it made it a tad bit more difficult to feel welcome. I asked many questions which were responded to with attitude that was less than friendly. I didn't entirely understand what I was ordering but wanted Chinese food. The store wasn't very clean and was very dull. The food was also sub par at best. It wasn't the worst quality but definitely not worth getting again for the price. Overall this restaurant could use a little life and more...
