This was our first visit and will most definitely be our last. The whole experience was bad. We first ordered the carrot and pecan pancakes to start so we had something to eat since we were all hungry. I told the server they were for the table. The pancakes came out and we never got plates or syrup. Then I realized the pancakes had raisins. I don’t eat raisins and was pretty unhappy because it wasn’t listed on the menu. The server told me they couldn’t be raisins because they didn’t have raisins in the restaurant, she tried to tell me they were bananas. They were in fact raisins. The carrots in the pancake were large enough that they crunched when you ate them like they came from a coleslaw mix. It took 25 minutes for us to order because our server just didn’t return. She clearly had too many tables to handle and couldn’t manage them all. By time our food came we were starving because we didn’t eat the pancake. My food never came with everyone else’s. She said the kitchen messed it up. So it came out 10 minutes later. By time my food came my children were done eating and ready to go. I waited another 7 minutes to ask the server to bring us boxes and the sauce that was supposed to come with my food but didn’t. She never came back. She was standing at the host stand chatting and had never checked on us since our food arrived. I finally went and asked another server for boxes. I also asked to speak to a manager. When our original server brought me the boxes she told me the manager was too busy to come and speak to us and our food had been taken care of and we didn’t need to pay for anything. She gave me the managers card and a card for a free meal if we returned. To have the server just say hey don’t pay for your food, sorry for your experience and be on your way was so completely dismissive of our experience. I’ve never had a manager be too busy to come speak to a table about a good or bad experience. We will not be returning. The service was bad the server ignored us most of the time we were there. The food was subpar. The scrambled eggs tasted like they came out of a carton. They boast about farm fresh, sustainable sourced ingredients and the food wasn’t very good. The restaurant was full-ish but there was no wait during Sunday brunch. That should’ve let me know the restaurant wasn’t going to be that good. I’m bummed because I heard pretty good reviews. Our overall experience was lackluster and disappointing.

Had never eaten here and stopped by to try it due to its great reviews. The food was pretty good and good quality. I had ordered my eggs over easy, and they definitely came over medium. The atmosphere was nice and had clean bathrooms. Unfortunately, as I turned my cup over for coffee, I realized the cup was dirty with dried food on it. So I politely asked our server for a new cup. With that being said, the service we received was not even close to the standard service you get when dining out. Our server wasn't rude but rather very smiley and polite. But that doesn't make up for the lack of attention and follow through. Since we never ate here, it took us a few mins to decide what we wanted to order. After taking our order, our server didn't return to check on us until he brought out the food. We had ordered a milk for our daughter with her food and he never brought it. Never stopped by again to check on if we needed anything else or were satisfied with the food received. While waiting for him to return to check on us and our food, we noticed him hanging out drinking his coffee, talking to the hostess, and then talking to the guy bussing the tables. Then he went back to stand in the front again, still not checking in on us. We stopped another server and asked her about the milk, and she apologized and promptly got it for our daughter. Unfortunately, by the time she got her milk, she had to take it to go. She had already finished her breakfast. When our server did return, it was to bring our check. I asked for 2 to-go boxes at that time, and he said he would go grab them. We again sat waiting. He came back without the boxes to tell us that he would ring us out up front when we were ready and again had to ask for him to go get us to-go boxes. The lack of quality service is what really made this a disappointing experience. I just really expect better when a meal is going to cost nearly $50. I have had better service going to many other places.

If you're looking for a comfortable place with a positive vibe from the atmosphere to the servers' smiles to have breakfast or brunch, First Watch is the place. There are glutton free, vegan, and unique breakfast items on the menu that mix traditional foods such as egg benedict into no so traditional meals such as Smoked Salmon Benedict. With so many outstanding options, it was hard to choose! I had the steel-cut oatmeal that was topped with strawberries and nuts along with brown sugar and milk on the side so I could have my oatmeal as sweet and thick as I wanted. I appreciated the orange-cranberry muffin that came with the meal, although it went home in a to-go container. The blueberry pancakes were jammed packed with blueberries and big enough to require its own zip code. My companion raved about the Farmhouse Hash. The Morning Meditation Fresh Juice was sunshine in a glass. I highly recommend First Watch for anyone wanting a breakfast or brunch with personality.

Patronizing new dining establishments makes traveling more memorable. This morning we decided to try First Watch as, most importantly in these CCD (crazy co-vid days), it has dine-in availability. Sometimes memorable means different things to different people...

The food: First Watch is the type of place that does not serve you straws or artifical sweeteners. The menu includes meals with whole wheat tortillas, steel cut oats, etc; all good I'm sure, however I just wanted a simple breakfast. The traditional breakfast of 2 eggs, choice of meat, breakfast potatoes and whole wheat toast was perfect. Potatoes are cubed thick and very soft, not my favorite but the smaller bits were excellent. Husband got the Trifecta with waffle, eggs, and bacon which he thoroughly enjoyed. Waffle was sweet on its own and raspberry compote enriched the flavor further. Our eggs, scrambled for me, over medium for him, were cooked perfectly. Overall we had no real complaints about the food.

The service: We were seated quickly and given our paper menus. A young server made her way to us and took our drink order and informed us, "Andrew will be your server and will be right with you." Well, he wasn't. After another server brought our drinks he eventually showed up, approximately 12-15 minutes after we had been seated, and thanked us for our patience; it is perhaps worth noting that as he approached he paused at another table to assure them he hadn't forgotten them. At this point he asked us what he could get us started with, usually that means drinks. We already had drinks. Ordered and served by other people. Instead we told him we would like to place our meal order and did so, which, when it came was, again, brought by one of the other servers. Things did not improve from there. Suffice it to say drinks were not refilled even when requested, no attempt was made to get a box for leftovers because we had already wasted so much time there, and two out of the three exchanges we had with Andrew involved an apology/appreciation for our patience pertaining to the poor service. He seems a very nice individual however the service caused what would have otherwise been a good meal quickly devolved into a...
