Our stay here was NOT good. I spoke to the front desk gentleman upon checkout and the gal at check in about some concerns. 1) our room was so hot. We were in 320. The AC worked only in one room with the unit but the living room with the pull out couch and the other bedroom were hot! I asked for a fan, which the front desk gal brought up to me. 2) the pull out sofa did NOT have sheets and I found the blanket in the closet. Again, asked the front desk for the sheets. She brought them with the fan. And said housekeeping mist have forgotten them. I looked at reviews just before starting mine and it appears I’m not the only one with these same issues. 3) parking lot was completely full. We arrived about 11pm. And thought this isn’t Hilton’s fault, people were over lines, so the three spots that were open, I couldn’t fit my SUV into them. Parking was very limited. 4) our room was so beat up I don’t know how they rent the room. The floor in the bedroom with no AC was buckling and I couldn’t open the door fully or close it without force (see the video). Doors were patched with little effort to finish them. The caulking around the tubs, cracked tile and grout. Dents in the fridge. A stove cook surface that doesn’t lay flat. The condition of the hotel is awful. 5) the gym was filthy. No wipes to wipe down equipment. 6) pool door doesn’t latch. Some little kid could have just went right on in and into the pool. 7) the game room is a great idea, but you have to pay for everything except the pool table and foosball. The air hockey didn’t work. And the hours we were told are only 8-10am. 8) low water pressure. 9) the walls are paper thin. You hear EVERYTHING. I knew if the room next to me was going 1 or 2. I could hear talking and the stomping above us was so loud. 10) the beds are NOT queens. They are smaller. The blankets are worse quality than anywhere I stayed (we were at Super 8s and Best Westerns that were nicer than this place). The wash cloths are also super thin. I would never go back. I did ask for the manager to contact me this week. We used points for this stay as we travel often. This place I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. I wish I had read Google reviews before booking this hotel. I would NEVER have booked it. If you are reading these reviews, believe them all. This place is gross.

We asked at 2pm if we could check in, but Anne told us we needed to come back at 3pm. We said we understood, since we were early, so we left, and returned at 3pm. There were 2 guests checking in ahead of us and when it was our turn Anne told us we needed to wait, because our room still wasn't ready, and directed us to the lobby lounge area. She said it would be about 15 mins and she'd come let us know when it was ready. Meanwhile more people continued to check in. After 35 mins we went back to the desk. After waiting for staff to come out to the reception desk, a different staff person - Stacy - comes from the back room. After getting our reservation info, she tells us we were "upgraded" to a handicap accessible suite. We said that wasn't what we reserved (we made reservations direct with Hilton at full rate - no 3rd party rates etc. 10 days before checking in.) I said we didn't reserve that type of room, so why are we having to wait for that specific room. She went back & talked with Anne (?manager). Stacy returned & begins processing us for check in, giving us room keys, etc. I asked again about the type of room. She said: it's a handicap accessible room. I said we don't need that type of room, nor was it the type we reserved. (When that has been the only option for other stays we've had, we were notified during reservation. My husband is 6'4" and the low toilet, counter, etc. are actually more uncomfortable.) She then tells us it's the only room available. My question: what happened to the regular room that was available when we reserved it?? How could it be the only room left, when at least 5 groups checked in AFTER we were told to wait? When we get to the room, it is blocked by housekeeping equipment. After working around it, we go in & see the room isn't ready - a housekeeper is surprised by our entry. (Tub needs to be replaced or refurbished.) I called the corporate number and confirmed Hilton's policy is still to notify guests before check in, if there is a changé to the room. The Hiltin Honors representative transfers me to customer service manager #, and after waiting a few mins., they answer but hang up before we even past "Hello".

I hate to give a mediocre review, but I have to be honest about my experience. I’m currently staying at this hotel for business. I am a diamond Hilton member and I am also an Ambassador Elite with Marriott. That’s to say I stay at hotels quite a bit for work. I’ll start with the good: The staff has been friendly and helpful which I appreciate. The 1bedroom King suite is pretty spacious and room has big TVs which I love. Basketball court is definite plus. Hot breakfast is decent especially with the obvious Hispanic flare, they sometimes serve chicken tinga and which I love and have never seen at another hotel. Carpets look new and the bed is comfortable. The bad: number one on my list is that the gym is tiny which I guess would be ok if it didn’t smell like vomit mixed with spoiled milk. When I asked staff about the smell, they said that they are aware but don’t know what the smell is. It has forced me to open a membership locally instead of using the hotel. I will be here for a month so I needed an avenue to workout. The kitchen appliances are old. There are stains on the living room couch. The stove didn’t work at all on the first day, maintenance ended up fixing that. The card readers to enter the building work properly about half the time, it’s almost a running joke with other folks that have been here awhile. The laundry room has 2 washers but 4 dryers, đŸ€” didn’t make sense to me, 1 of the washers is 1.50 and the other is 1.25 to use. Hotel is 3+miles away from the freeway, which is not the bad but I blame myself for that. Overall I’m disappointed. I’m away from home a lot and just want to feel like the hotel I’m staying at offers service and facilities that make it worth being away from home. I don’t feel that way here. This has not been my experience at other Homewood Suites. My stay here has been meh.

My family stayed 5 nights in three suites to attend my son’s wedding. I chose this property because my kids have little children, this property provided full kitchens (no ovens). I took connecting suites, one was the 1-bedroom suite (2-adults, 2 children ages 5 & 1) connecting with my studio suite (2 adults, 15 & 9 year olds). The third suite was a separate 1-bedroom suite (2 adults, 2 children ages 2 & 7 months). All the suites had the same square footage, however because of the wall with the door to the separate bedroom, everybody hung mostly in my studio suite. Not having that wall & door in the studio suite, there was more room for the children to run around and play together. On the other hand, the 1-bedroom suites had that door for the little ones to quietly nap. The property provided Pack ‘N Plays for the little ones to sleep in. The older children slept on the sofa-sleepers.||The front desk was very friendly and accommodating to all our requests and needs. The entire property was very well-kept and clean. The breakfast area was next to the lobby with very nice choices of hot-food offerings and plenty of seating. Being that we had all the children, there was a very nice patio for us to be outside to eat with plenty of seating. There was a basketball court so the children could run around and play with a ball while we ate breakfast. ||Housekeeping came in every other day, unless we requested more often. Housekeeping did a great job of cleaning and replenishing. They actually left thank you notes for the tips we left them. The room temperature was great, I was able to adjust it as desired. The bathroom was well-lit with a separate door to the shower & toilet. The shower took a minute or two for the water to heat up, it was a nice pressure with a hot shower. There were containers of shampoo, conditioner & wash in the shower with a container of lotion over the sink. I loved their fragrance. ||There was a nice game room, the older kids did have fun there. We tried to use the indoor pool, but the water was too cold for the children to go in. There was a hot tub, but it was broken. We did not use the fitness center. The TV only worked the first two days, the signal was out for the remainder of our stay.||When pulling up to the hotel’s main entrance, you can run in to check-in. But then you must drive around the building to the parking lot to unload the car. If the key card to the door does not work, you have to walk around the building to the entrance, which is a huge inconvenience when you have children in the car. There was plenty of complimentary parking, the lot was well-lit at night, so we did feel safe.||All-in-all we had a wonderful time staying at this property. The entire staff were very friendly and went above and beyond for us. I highly recommend this property, especially for families with children. I would definitely...

Update 07/2025 - The below review which we posted two years ago remains the same. However, we have now stayed at this hotel at least 7 years. We felt this update was necessary because we are seeing some major positive changes: outdoor appearance of the grounds is being better maintained; new A/C units are being installed (in the rooms where guests complain of poor A/C?); although we do not use the indoor pool, we note it is being used frequently by the guests, some for several days in a row (we surmise this means the pool is being better maintained (for those guests who have complained about the pool). The staff (front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, management) continues to consistently remain the best by far of any hotel we have frequented (and we stay in a lot of hotels). Of particular note we would like to give a major thumbs up to Isabel and Brooke in the breakfast room. One change we have noticed on our most recent visit is that there have been numerous days when only one of them has been scheduled to take care of the breakfast area, even when the hotel is quite full. Keep in mind this is a true cooked breakfast, not just packaged items you heat up in a microwave. That one person continues to greet all guests with a smile as they are busy filling empty food bins, filling empty coffee urns, and wiping dirty tables. This hotel has been our home-away-from-home for several months every summer for the past five years. We live in Arizona and travel to Fort Collins in the summer to escape the heat at home. The positives are (1) LOCATION (it is situated in a beautiful. quiet residential area which is safe and scenic for walking and very close to many restaurants and a Safeway); (2) fully stocked kitchen with utensils, plates, cups, etc., apartment sized frig, two burner stove, dishwasher and table and chairs; (3) more than adequate cooked breakfast in a brightly lighted dining area; (4) staff (from the front desk to maintenance to housekeeping to breakfast hosts – very pleasant and always willing to please); (5) excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water; (6) good mattress; (7) very good bath linens which are superior to some higher rated hotels where we have stayed; (8) A/C is more than adequate; (9) very good wifi; (10) ceiling fan. The negatives are so few that they are not worth mentioning. For people who have complained about this hotel needing updating, we can only say that unless you stay in a newly built hotel, all hotels are going to show signs of wear. This hotel was updated a few years ago, and we are very pleased with the renovations. We look forward every year to our stay with...
