Updated review at new location. This is our first time visiting them at their new location since it was crazy busy when they first opened. We love how much bigger the new location is. We had a short 10 minute wait when we went for brunch on a Saturday. Unheard of at the previous location. Our last visit to the old location on a Saturday for brunch was a 1.5hr wait, so we left. We tried the original pancakes again, still not great, dense. I had the Mile high breakfast this time. The biscuits & gravy were very bland. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The bacon waffle was delicious as always. My husband tried the famous Joe this time and he said it was delicious. They're still serving great portion sizes so you definitely get your money's worth. Previously, I had the eggs Benedict & a waffle, my husband had the Texmex breakfast and finished every morsel. The waffle was delicious, especially with the hot syrup. Service continues to be phenomenal. Our waitress was very attentive and kept the hot coffee coming. Still very friendly staff. Atmosphere is very loud, as expected at most brunch locations. I wish the new spot allowed for a little more space/privacy between tables, especially with so much more room. Space is very tight between tables. You will definitely not be having any privacy. During our visit we were entertained by conversations on both sides, one on Trump and the other on Thanksgiving dinner. No evesdropping, just sitting so close and conversations so loud that you might as well join the table next to you! As long as you don't mind that type of meal intimacy with strangers, you're good. Would still recommend for breakfast or brunch, but has not been my favorite. Have had 2 dishes so far that left a lot to be desired. Food seems to be on the bland side. But for the most part, the eggs dishes and waffles are where...
Read moreWe were going to be first time patrons at this restaurant this morning, I arrived at 9:35 and put our name in for a party of 6. When we arrived, we were told the wait was 40 minutes. We waited 45 minutes and checked in with the hostess as we were seeing other big parties being seated. We were told we were nearing the top of the list and it would be an additional 20 minutes. We were willing to wait because we understood the restaurant was busy and had already waited 45 minutes. I was told they would try and seat us as soon as they could. We checked in after the additional 20 minutes and were then told we would be waiting another 40 minutes. They were expecting us to wait an hour and 40 minutes to be seated. This is unacceptable. We watched multiple large parties that came after us be seated before us and as you can understand, became very frustrated with the situation. We removed our name from the list, drove 2 minutes across the street and chose to eat at IHOP instead. Where we received great service and were seated in the amount of time we were told.
I did call and speak to the restaurant manager about the entire situation and was given excuses instead of trying to rectify the situation. As a first time patron I am very disappointed and will not be returning to this restaurant. Nothing was offered to fix this, and as a professional who cares for people in my career this is poor customer care. Very...
Read moreCame here on a busy Sunday morning and had about a 30 minute wait… but it was worth it. Server was great and always around when we needed her. For drinks, we got coffee, orange juice and chocolate milk. The orange juice is freshly squeezed so it was great, and the chocolate milk was extra chocolatey (just the way I like it) so it was heaven. Coffee was standard coffee. For our mains we ordered the coconut pancakes, corned beef hash and blueberry Belgian waffle. Every single thing was bursting with flavor. The document pancakes tasted like I was on a tropical island. The syrup they give with the meal is a tropical syrup and tastes like a mango guava syrup. The pancakes are so fluffy and just so yummy I don’t have lots of words. I ordered a side of bacon and the bacon was thick cut, and it was cooked to slightly crispy, but I prefer my bacon not crispy at all. But still yummy. The side of has browns was delicious. The corned beef hash I served with three pancakes and two eggs on top of the hash. It was the best corned beef hash my partner was ever order, and that’s his go to meal at breakfast restaurant. It was bursting with flavor and he ate every single bite. The blueberry Belgian waffle was soft and fluffy, and I could compare it to the blueberry taste of Maine. So tasty. The side of link sausages were a tad spicy, so keep that in mind if you order those. Overall loved this place and would...
