Maya Empanada — Restaurant in Fort Collins

We absolutely love visiting the Campus West location before embarking on a hike, road-trip or before heading to CSU games. Their mouth-watering meals-to-go are simply irresistible, so make sure you bring enough to share, or else your friends will be envious when they see what they're missing out on!

The dessert counter is my personal favorite, with options like lavender blackberry that are simply amazing. The bakery team in the back is always busy and the restaurant is spotless - you can tell they take pride in their space. The Latin music adds to the overall vibe and it's a fun and funky spot, conveniently located right next to the dispensary and McDonald's, but far superior in quality.

The breakfast bakery pastries change often, so there's always something new to try. My all-time favorite is the almond pastry - it beats any donut I've ever had! They use all-natural ingredients, just like the homemade empanadas my grandma used to make.

The savory veggie, chicken, and steak empanadas are all fantastic. Even the kids love the gravy chicken and can't get enough of it! The restaurant is great for take-out, with easy parking right in front on both sides of the corner, or for outdoor dining. The vibe is cool and inviting.

We also love the other location, which is a short walk away from the Hilton Convention Center and Hotel. The seating is both indoor and outdoor at the W. Prospect location, making it the perfect spot for pre-gaming before CSU games or just grabbing...

If you are looking for fresh, authentic, and tasty empanadas, this is the place! I have gotten pork, steak, and lemon curd empanadas here, and I have yet to be disappointed! Yes, you read that right! They also have SWEET empanadas here! The staff here are SUPER friendly and make the time to heat up an empanada fly hy with good small talk! The place itself has a chill vibe with some good music to help ease you into the impossible decision of which empanada to get!

As for the empanadas themselves, well there is nothing bad to say here! Every one is packed full of various fillings and they simply are to die for! And for 2 is $12 so you definitely are not breaking the bank to get food here! And in today's world that's a hard find! I'd call this a hidden gem of Fort Collins Food!

Woah this place just took me to flavor town. So so so good. If you walk into this tiny shop while empanadas are being baked you’ll know exactly what you’re getting into. It smells amazing in there. The dough is spectacular, so flavorful and the fillings are delicious. Plus you will get a variety of dipping sauces that are all delicious and unique.
