These guys are awesome. I got an old mountain bike/commuter bike shortly before moving to FoCo, and I'm an amateur in terms of repairs (I can change my tires and I know the names of the different parts of the drivetrain). Anyway, when I replaced the tires, I messed up the front brake and didn't have the right sized wrench to fix it. So I rode it to CSU without the front brake and, on lunch, ran over to Road 34 to see what it'd cost to get it fixed, $3. My friends and I had a beer on the food/bar side of the shop, and the repair was done quicker than our beers; I wasn't even late for class. It was such a relief to have prices match the service/time spent especially on a student budget, and James was awesome. He explained what he was doing as he did it and showed me how I might improve the brake's function in the future; he encouraged me to check the bike learning lab on campus to get the tools for this improvement. Later, when my shifter started messing up, I took it in again. The repair was again, reasonably-priced and excellently done. I've since recommended the shop to a few friends and they've received great service as well. I'd definitely say to check this...
Read moreFood is a 5/5 - my favorite Italian sandwich ever, great beer selection, fun vibe. But the 2/5 is because one particular guy that's usually there is rude, impatient, and sometimes just mean for no reason. We've been here 4 times recently, he was working 3 of those time, and we had the same experience. I just called to see if they're open because half the places in town are closed for a long holiday break, and whoever answered (sounded like the same guy) said, "yeah, why wouldn't we be open?" Why the sass? Last time we were there we tried asking what he recommended between 2 sandwiches; he interrupted mid-question and said, "I don't answer questions like that." One time I asked if they had spare disposable masks because someone in our party left theirs behind and all he said was, "I don't care." We're still kind and tip 25% because the service industry is tough, but this guy's attitude makes being...
Read moreMy first of what will undoubtedly bemany visits to this place. We came for lunch, and it was pretty quiet, though people were coming in. The decor in this place is super cool - look up to see a bunch of bike-related decorations. Our food came quickly. We both got the nachos, which packed a LOT of bang for the buck. Most people will want a to-go box, but I'm good with that. Super tasty, with generous dollops of everything that makes nachos great. I feel guilty. I drove for a pizza joint nearby for a year and a half, and must have drove past this place a thousand times. Much respect for Moe, the bartender. (Moe, the bartender. Right? How cool is that?). Came across as a mellow, friendly dude, really the sort of vibe I would associate with this place. Thanks for a...
