Casa D'Angelo Ristorante — Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

I have to share with everyone our extremely pleasant experience from this amazing Italian restaurant Casa D’Angelo here in Fort Lauderdale:

We made a reservation by phone and person who I was talking with was very helpful, kind and knowledgeable about everything. This first impression for me is important, because it gives you a glance of insight about how your experience of visiting and dining in specific restaurant could and will be.

We arrived on time; there is plenty of parking space available and we had no problem with finding a spot for our car.

Restaurant form outside looks beautiful and cozy & we couldn’t wait to get in and enjoy our evening!

From the moment we walked in, the experience was outstanding!

I have to say: the hostesses here are not only beautiful but also genuinely kind ~ something you don’t always see. Our table was spotless and elegantly set, and drinks arrived very quickly.

For appetizers, we ordered the shrimp with broccoli leaves absolutely delicious and the beef carpaccio with arugula, incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned. For our main course we chose different entrees: as visible on pictures ~ but these pictures cannot truly describe how delicious everything truly was!

I was very impressed that our server explained every single dish and special offers in such a detail and knew every price I asked by heart—no surprises!

My husband tried the bison, something rarely seen on menus, and he loved it! He is a hunter and his choice of main meal left him speechless! Delicious, excellent, tasty: simply: perfect! The meat was tender, and the sauce was rich and delicious. It doesn’t happen very officially that he is impressed with something, but this time: he was satisfied and that made me very happy.

We decided to share one of their pasta ravioli, they do make their own pasta there (you can tell ) and everything what we had before our main meal was absolutely delicious!

We paired everything with a wonderful bottle of wine recommended by their sommelier. I truly appreciated that he suggested something excellent without pushing the most expensive option ~ it showed he genuinely cared about our experience.

Our server was attentive, kind, friendly and very knowledgeable and made the evening feel truly special.

From the very start to the very finish: Casa D’Angelo delivered a top-notch dining experience for all of us! My sister and mother loved it so very much same as us & we felt like we are actually visiting our family that is treating us the best way they can! Absolutely stunning and amazing experience beyond our expectations!

We’ve spent much more elsewhere for far less, but here: every dollar felt worth it!

I would also like to add: If you are on a sweet side (like me) and you love to have a delicious desert after your meal: this is definitely place to try something different! I have never been to the restaurant where you have such an awesome selection of deserts & honestly: hats down for this truly unique experience! Perfect balance of sweetness & joy!

I don't know how we haven't tried Casa D'Angelo before last night but, wow, were we missing out on a fabulous restaurant with an amazing staff, chef and wine collection. Thank you Dineout Lauderdale, we wouldn't have had such an amazing experience if it wasn't for this great program offered in Broward County. And thank you to all the restaurants participating thru August and September. We arrived a few minutes before our friends, so we decided to take a seat at the bar for a cocktail. The restaurant is beautifully designed, tastefully decorated and smelled oh so delicious. You could tell the dishes being created in the kitchen were fresh and made to order. While we waited for our friends, we checked out the expansive wine list. Amazing wines from all over the world. The sommelier stopped by, introduced himself and offered wonderful guidance. He was a great help as we ordered our dishes, as well. Once we sat down, we had a nice table overlooking the patio with lots of windows. We were very close to the wine room, and the floor to ceiling collection was an impressive sight to see. This is when we met Aba, our amazing server. The specials were plentiful and she was able to describe each dish with such detail and expertise. Come to find out she has been there 18 years and was a true professional. Aba made our first visit so memorable. Overall the food was fantastic! Every table receives a starting plate of fresh bruschetta on toast crisp, parm cheese chunks, green olives, and focaccia. We then ordered the following appetizers. Burrata with shaved black truffle, shaved at the table and Octopus Carpaccio, so fresh and tasty and the poached pear salad with black cherries, toasted almonds and gorgonzola. Dinners consisted of perfectly cooked Creekstone beef Tagliata with fried polenta and an amazing marzano jam that I never tasted before. Also, a large pork chop in a marsala sauce, potato crusted branzino and the lasagna from the Dineout menu. After seeing all of our amazing entrees, our guest that ordered the Lasagna was sorry she didn't order one of the other amazing specials. You can get lasagna anywhere but that pork chop in the marsala sauce was one of a kind! We indulged in dessert which was a luscious hazelnut and frangelico tiramisu and chocolate profiteroles. Now this restaurant may be pricing but 3 of us ordered the 3 course price fix menu offered thru Dine Out Lauderdale and one ordered off the main menu. Every item we ordered was worth every dollar.
