Monti's Italian Pizzeria Restaurant — Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

I placed a semi large order online (which is how I have done it every time) on December 26th 2023. My order came up to $65.00 and change. I received a notification that my order was received and it would be delivered within an hours time frame. Two hours later, the order had not arrived, I called the number and found out that they were closed until January 1st. So I called and left two messages explaining what happened and that I was very upset because it took the money and they were closed. I patiently waited until the 1st of January. (6 days that they had my money). I waited until mid afternoon, giving them an opportunity to return my call. Which they did not. I called and tried to explain my problem and all she could tell me was that everything was closed to call back tomorrow. I felt as though had waited long enough and needed a little more assurance that my money would be returned and tried to say so and she hung up on me. All in all I was hung up on FIVE times. And when I called back the last time, they did not answer. Once a man answered the phone, said he was the owner and hung up on me. I received a few excuses such as the banks are closed there is nothing she could do, I needed to call Uber to get my money returned. (I did not order through Uber) I finally went to the store personally and received the same response. I asked to speak to the manager/owner and was told that he was not there. Customer service is terrible. I will not be ordering from here again.

updateI would not have been as upset as I was if my phone calls were handled better. Not hanging up on me would have been a great start. Listening would have been better. At one point she took the phone away from her face and talked to another person and her comments about me were disparaging. Her tone was disparaging every time I called. Her excuse for hanging up on me FIVE times was preposterous at best. I called with the mindset that mistakes happen, all I wanted was my money back. I had already waited a week, I expected to wait a couple of days more. My tone was calm but had to raise my voice to be heard as she was yelling at me. I had her on speaker and at one point my husband came from another room to ask if I was ok. This disrespectful treatment is the reason I will not be back, not the mistake with the web site and...

First and foremost reviews are needed so us as customers can know where we should eat and spend out hard earned money, with that said heres my review.....

I just ate here tonight and from the moment I walked in something told me to leave. Empty business, no one here and the employees working here (3) just standing around no one in uniform. Now perception means a lot, but I thought to myself let me still give this food a chance.

I sat down with my wife and daughter to eat and ordered 2 waters and soda. No fountain soda and only cans, so forget about refills and the water from the tap tasted horrible. I ordered chicken wings and a pizza, when the waitress brought out the wings I just shakes my head. Small, lacked meat and overall taste was average.

Now the pizza comes out and I couldn't believe it. I can honestly tell you I've had bad frozen pizza that tasted better than this..... I've been eating pizza almost my whole life and when I eat good/bad pizza I know the difference. Simply horrible, from a scale from 1 to 10 I would rate it a 1.

Please do yourself a favor and do not eat in this place, poor quality, expensive and most importantly the place looks dirty and broken down. Stay...

I calld to place an order. And a guy pickd up.. Sounded very indian. (Thickaccent). .. He was the most rude employee i have ever delt with. I askd for a medium pizza. (Peperoni) nd half hawaian. . so i askd him how much is it for delivery? I live right on 441 and comercial blvd. Not far. He tells me total 15.85 first time. But to make sure i askd him again . he responds. 16.85. So i askd him so is 16.85 or 15.85. He tells me 17.85 my friend call dominoes. They have very cheap pizza there. Over here is very expencive dont call over here If u dont want it. ----???*😕😱. I was surprized by his attitude. For me just asking the price. I was surpriced for him changing the prizes. ... Wow. Motis. Is very good with pizza but that employee. Is a down fall for yu guys. Ripping people off. ...... But i just met the boss. He is a real nice guy. He came to deliver nd he made sure his costumer was satisfied. I will b calling nd dining in again. Very delicious slices...
